*Matthew's apartment*

"Auggie!" Abby smiled happily and sat next to him at the kitchen table. 

"Hi Abby!" Auggie grinned. 

"Good morning Abby," Topanga smiled at Abby. "Andy."

Riley and Maya smiled at me and waved me over. "One sec." I pulled Cory to the side away from everyone else. "Can I have an extension on my homework?"

"Why?" He asked. "Is everything okay?"

I nodded, "yeah. I was just really busy at home. I cooked dinner, I brought some by the way." I handed him the container. "I had to help Liam around the house and-"

Cory cut me off. "Say no more. I'll give you another day to do it."

I smiled at him. "Thank you."

*John Quincy Adams Middle School cafeteria*

Maya, Riley, and I are sat down to eat lunch. I had brought some lasagna for us. I also gave some to Cory, Auggie, Topanga, and Abby.

Maya looked over her shoulder. "Aww, look at him looking for a place to fit in." I turned around to see Lucas looking for a spot to sit.

Riley smiled. "You think he'll sit with us?"

Maya pulled an empty chair over and placed it between Riley and I. Farkle appeared and sat in the chair. "Ladies." He smiled. 

"Farkle." Maya, Riley and I said at the same time. 

Farkle looked at his lunch. He had lasagna. Where did he get that? That was not on the lunch menu today. "Looks like we all have the same lunch."

"Is that all you got?" I questioned.

Farkle nodded. "That's it! Same time tomorrow!" He got up and left.

"There he is! Invite him to sit down!" Maya looked at me.

"Why me?" I questioned. "Riley, you do it."

"With words?" Riley asked.

Maya nodded. "You're ready for this."

"What do I say?" Riley asked nervously. 

Maya smiled. "Hey, Lucas. Looking for somebody special?"

"I can't say that!" Riley hissed. 

"Hey, Lucas. Looking for somebody?" I said.

"Too forward." Riley said. I knew Riley liked Lucas. I kind of liked him too. But since it was clear that Riley liked him, I decided to step back.

"Hey, Lucas." Maya said.

"Like we're on a first name basis?" Riley questioned.

I saw Lucas. "Hey." 

Riley nodded not noticing Lucas, "Hey." 

"Hey back." Lucas sat down between Riley and I. 

Riley's eyes widen. "Hi. You're sitting here."

Lucas nodded. "Is that okay?" Riley gave him the thumbs up.

I smirked at Lucas, "I don't think you understand the whole breaking up thing."

Lucas smiled at me, "really? I think two people can still be friends after they've broken up." I smiled at him.

Cory came over. "How ya doing?" He looked at me, then at Lucas.

Riley looked at him. "Dad, you have a choice here. You can either understand that this is just a boy talking to us in the cafeteria..."

"I'm gonna do whatever you say next." Cory said.
