On my way to lunch, Farkle stopped me. "Andy!"

I smiled at him. "Hey Farkle, what's up?"

"I'm still trying to figure out who to take to the Buggie awards." He sighed heavily.

"Well, if Riley and Maya doesn't want to go. I'll go with you." I told him, "it sounds fun."

He studied my face. "Who are you and what have you done to my Andy?!"

His little outburst made me chuckle. "I wouldn't mind going with you Farkle. But it's your choice."

He smiled at me, "yay! But I will have to take Riley and Maya out to make them want to go with me too!"

I narrowed my eyes at him. "You just want us to fight over you, don't you?"

He let out his evil Farkle laugh. "I've always loved how smart you are, Andy."

"Thanks Farkle. I love how you can always make me smile, even when I'm down."

He smiled back at me. "I will always be here for you."

"Thanks Farkle. I'm going to hug you now," I said slowly. "Don't faint."

He grinned widely. "I'll try not to." I hugged him, wrapping my arms around his neck. Farkle inhaled deeply and sighed. "Andy?"

"Farkle?"

"You can let go now. I'm going to faint."

I pulled away from the hug and chuckled softly as Farkle slowly fainted. I grabbed his backpack, lifted his head and placed his bag under his head.

"Thanks Andy." Farkle smiled with his eyes still closed.

"No problem Farkle." I ruffled his hair and walked off.

I decided against lunch when I saw Riley and Maya sitting together, talking, and laughing. I bit the inside of my cheek and went to the empty hallway. I leaned against the wall and slowly slid to the floor. Pulling my knees to my chest, I rest my forehead on them.

Come on Andy. Just go in there and try to say sorry again. Go in there and don't leave until they forgive you.

"Andy?"

I looked up and saw Cory. "Hi."

He crouched down in front of me. "What are you doing?"

I shrugged. "Just sitting."

"What's going on with you, Riley and Maya?" He asked softly.

"I couldn't stay over last night because I had something to do at home." I explained. "It's was Maya's birthday too..."

"What was going on at home?" Cory questioned.

I bit the inside of my cheek. "Liam had to take an extra shift at work and needed me to stay with Abby."

"Well, you know that you guys are always welcomed to stay with us." Cory said sincerely.

"I know. He just didn't want to bother you guys every time he needed something." I said quietly. "I'm sorry."

Cory pat my knee. "It's okay, Andy. And I know Riley and Maya will come around." I knew he didn't believe me. I could see it. I was just glad he didn't try to push me.

"Andy, there you are." Brandon walked over.

Cory stood up. "Brandon, why don't you keep Andy company. But if you try anything..." He did the 'I'm watching you' gesture. "I'm watching you." He slowly backed away and went into the cafeteria.
