"Am I crazy?"

"Yes." Brandon replied seriously. I shot him a glare. "But I think you should do it. Even if you won't like what he tells you, at least you'll get some answers."

I leaned back against the tree. "Okay, but how am I suppose to find him? I didn't really let him say where he was staying or anything."

"Do you know what he likes to do?" Brandon questioned.

I shook my head, "I haven't seen him in six years. How am I suppose know what he likes to do?"

He shrugged in response. "That's true. We can wander around the city if you want. Maybe we'll run into him."

"We can't search the whole city, Brandon." I told him.

"Okay, we can check the popular places here." Brandon suggested. "He may be doing the same thing. Going to places he thinks any of you three will be hoping he'll run into you guys."

I stepped away from the tree. "Then let's go. Starting with Central Park." We left school and headed to the subway.

-

Brandon and I walked aimlessly through Central Park. My eyes scanned my surroundings looking for James. "This is hopeless." I exclaimed, "there are hundreds of people here in this park. There's no way we can find him."

"We'll find him." Brandon reassured me.

We walked by a playground and I saw Abby with Auggie and Ava. I walked over to them with Brandon following me. "Hey Abbs." I smiled at her. "Hey Auggie, Ava."

"Look what I found!" Auggie held up a leaf with a small slug on it.

"Auggie! Put it back!" Abby told him. Abby tried to take the leaf from him, but Auggie moved away almost touching Ava with the leaf.

Ava screamed and jumped back. "Auggie!"

I looked around to see Riley, Maya, Lucas and Lydia sitting on the grass talking. Riley looked over and saw me. She waved me over. Sighing, I went over to them. "Hey." I smiled at them.

"On a date?" Maya questioned as she glanced over to Brandon who was walking towards us.

I shook my head, "no. We were just hanging out."

Lydia arched her eyebrow. "Just hanging out?"

"Hey guys." Brandon smiled a little.

"What up rebel?" Maya smiled.

Brandon shrugged. "Just hanging."

"'Just hanging.'" Riley repeated and looked at me.

Lucas stood up. "Hey, umm.. Andy, can I talk to you?"

"You are." I said.

Lucas rolled his eyes, "please." He walked away.

I sighed heavily. "Fine. I'll be back. I'm going to go see what Captain Texas wants." I followed Lucas. "What do you want to talk to me about?" I questioned.

"You told Farkle?" He asked.

Ugh. Farkle... "Yeah." I nodded, "I needed someone to talk to. Farkle's a great friend."

"He is a great friend." Lucas sighed out.

"What did he say?" I asked.

Lucas scratched the back of his head. "He told me not to play with your feelings... Am I?"

"You're not." I was fast to say. "I know how I feel." No I don't.

"How do you feel?" Lucas asked.
