"What if she doesn't wake up Andrea?" Amy cried to her older sister as she watched Sam sleep.
"She will do. She's strong." Andrea comforted her.
Wiping her eyes, Amy sat on the edge of the bed and moved some hair out of Sam's eyes. Amy smiled as she stroked Sam's cheek with her thumb gently.
"I just want her to wake up. I need her to. I need her. I didn't realise how much I actually needed someone like her in my life, until I met her. She's something special." Amy said biting her lip to try and stop herself from crying anymore.
"Amy I hate to be the one who brings you bad news, but what if she doesn't wake up? We have to talk about what we'll do." Dale said as he walked into the room.
Andrea looked at him and shook her head. She knew how upset Amy was, she didn't need to be broken.
"You do what needs to be done Amy. You do it." Dale told her, ignoring Andrea's warning stare.
"How could you expect me to do that?! To put a bullet through her head! Just because I'm close to her, doesn't mean I'll be strong enough. I'm slowly breaking as it is." Amy snapped.
Dale sighed and handed her a gun.
"You do what needs to be done." He told her one last time before leaving.
Amy looked at the gun with hatred. She would never use this to kill Sam. And that was a promise.
"Please wake up." She begged Sam laying her head on her chest, listening to her heartbeat.
"Get the fuck off me." Sam mumbled with a slight smirk.
Amy quickly sat up and looked at Andrea who had a small smile on her face.
"Sam?" Amy whispered.
"Amy." Sam greeted.
Amy smiled and gave Sam a hug, who hissed in pain. Amy sat up again and gave her a apologetic smile.
"Sorry." She said.
Sam just shrugged and slowly sat up and got out of bed. Amy walked to her side and helped her out of the RV.
All eyes landed on them. Carol burst into tears and walked towards Sam and wrapped her arms around her.
"I'm sorry." She cried.
"Don't be. It wasn't your fault." Sam smiled at her.
Carl and Sophia ran up to her and they gently wrapped their small arms around Sam.
"I'm glad you're okay." Carl smiled.
Shane walked over and hugged her tight.
"You're such an idiot Sam." He whispered.
She laughed slightly and Shane smiled once he pulled away.
Things were looking up.
Everyone walked over to the camp fire and began to eat and talk, just having a good time. It soon got dark and people had moved places and were listening to Dale as he told a story. Amy kept glaring at him.
Andrea sat across from Amy and Sam, who had her arm protectivaly around her. Amy rested her head on Sam's shoulder and sighed happily.
"You need me huh?" Sam smirked.
Amy felt herself blushed and looked up at Sam.
"Yeah. I guess I do." Amy smiled.
Sam looked deep into her eyes, the fire making Amy's eyes look even more beautiful than they already were. She slowly leant in and so did Amy.
"I have to pee." She whispered.
Sam groaned and rolled her eyes as Amy giggled as she stood up.
I don't like to see her go. But I love watching her leave. Sam thought to herself with a smirk.
Andrea looked at Sam and raised her eyebrow and Sam just smiled. She looked up at the sky and closed her eyes.
A scream made her snap her eyes open. She looked over and saw Amy getting bit by a walker on the arm.
"AMY!" Andrea cried as she jumped up.
Sam quickly stood up, ignoring the pain she ran towards Amy, just as a bullet went through the walkers head. She nearly reached Amy, but another walker cut her off. She quickly pushed it away and reached into boot and pulled her knife out, stabbing it in the head.
Another scream, and what she saw made her heart break even more. A walker was biting into Amy's neck.
She reached Amy and pulled the walker off of her and stabbed it multiple times in the head. Ignoring the blood that splattered all over her. She turned to look at Amy who was clutching her neck. She was about to fall to the ground but Sam caught her and gently layed her down.
She no longer heard the moans and growls. She no longer heard the terrified screams. She no longer heard the gunshots. She could only hear Amy gasping for air.
Sam held back tears. She reached to cup Amy's cheek but got pushed out of the way by Andrea. She hissed in pain.
Andrea began to cry. So did Sam.
She shuffled backwards, but she couldn't. Looking up, Daryl looked down. He shook his head.
Merle didn't come back. She began to cry even harder. Daryl wrapped an arm around her and held her.
And that is how they stayed for the rest of the night.
