Jenner led the group through different corridors until they reached an elevator. It remained quiet until Jenner smiled at Carl.
"You all look pretty harmless..Except you. I'll have to keep an eye on you."
Carl giggled and Lori smiled as she stroked the top of his head.
The elevator dinged, telling the group they had reached where they were supposed to be. They carefully stepped out and Carol whimpered slightly.
"Are we underground?"
"You claustrophobic?"
"A little."
"Try not to think about it."
They entered a small room and Jenner told them all to sit as he took their blood. As soon as Sam saw the needle she began to panic. Memories came flooding back to her.
"C'mon just try it." Her best friend Demi giggled.
"No. Don't make me touch that thing. You do what you wanna do, don't make me have that...Please." Sam begged.
"Just leave her babe. She's such a whimp. Such a goody two shoes." Demi's boyfriend Alex laughed.
Sam watched and cringed as her friend dug the needle into her arm. She quickly looked away as Demi caught her looking.
"You know you wanna try it." Demi smirked.
Sam quickly shook her head.
"No. No I don't."
Alex stood up and walked over to her. He sat next to her and wrapped a hand around her arm roughly, she couldn't move. She was sure he left a bruise.
"Just. Try. It." He growled.
Sam tried her hardest to wriggle out of his grip but she couldn't. Demi crawled over and prepared the needle. She smiled lovingly at Sam.
"You're gonna love it." She whispered before injecting the needle. Sam screamed out in pain and the door quickly burst open.
"POLICE KEEP YOUR HANDS WHERE I CAN SEE THEM!" A voice commanded.
Demi and Alex ran for it, whilst Sam layed there clutching her arm. Tears fell from eyes.
The police officer walked slowly over to Sam and knelt down.
"Miss? You alright?" He asked.
She looked at him and shook her head.
He layed a hand on her shoulder and she instantly tensed."Miss can you tell me your name please?" He asked.
"S-S-Sam."
"Well Sam. My name is Shane Walsh. I'm a police officer. I'm not gonna hurt you. I promise." Shane smiled. Sam just stared. Still clutching her arm.
"Sam."
She ignored him.
"Sam." He said louder.
"SAM!" Shane shouted.
When Sam came back round, tears were falling from her eyes and she was clutching her arm.
"Ye alrigh'?" Daryl whispered to her. She shook her head. Eye still on the needle.
"Oh shit." Shane realised.
He quickly walked over to Sam and wrapped her in a tight hug.
"It won't hurt you. I promise it's not bad." He reasured her.
"Keep yer eyes on me." Daryl told her, realising she must be terrified of needles.
As the silent tears fell she made her way over to Jenner, who gave her a small smile. He rolled her sleeve up and injected the needle. Sam looked at Daryl who gave her a small smile and nodded his head.
She smiled back and she was soon allowed to move.
She stood up but soon fell down again, Shane managed to catch her and she groaned.
"She hasn't eaten in days. None of us have." Jacqui told Jenner.
"Allow me to help with that." Jenner smirked leading them through to another room.
"Oh, before that. There's enough rooms for you, but you'll probably have to share with someone. The showers are in full use, just go easy on the hot water. And the rec room is full of board games and books. Just don't plug in the videogames." He told them before leading them into a big open space.
"Help yourself to the food and drink. There's pleanty to go around." He smiled before walking away, leaving the group to do whatever they wanted.
Shane smiled at Sam and led her to a chair and sat her down.
"Let's get you some food." He grinned.
