As soon as Sam had spoken those words, Shane roughly grabbed Jenner's shirt and pulled him close.
"What does she mean by that?!" Shane asked angrily.
Jenner tried to push Shane away, but it was no use. Shane had a strong hold on him.
"Stop struggling and answer the damn question." Shane demanded.
Rick shook his head and gently pulled Shane away. He reluctlently let go of Jenner. He started to pace around the room.
Carol sat on the floor, clutching Sophia close. Carl and Lori joined them.
"Jenner. What's full decontamination?" Rick asked calmly.
"The decontamination procedure..It's a high-impulse thermobaric weapon wired throughout the facility's air vents..." He said slowly.
Rick slowly backed away from him and shook his head. He turned around and faced the group.
"Get your stuff. We're leaving now!" He ordered.
As the group quickly ran to the door, Jenner typed in something on one of the computers and the doors shut quickly.
"Did he just lock us in?!" Glenn asked quickly. "HE JUST LOCKED US IN!" Glenn shouted terrified as he realised Jenner had indeed locked them in.
Daryl let out a growl and reached for an axe and began to hit the door, Shane grabbed another axe and joined Daryl.
Jenner chuckled and shook his head.
"Those doors are able to defend against a rocket launcher."
Daryl turned around and quickly walked over to him.
"Yeah? Well yer head ain't." He growled as he raised the axe above his head.
T-Dog rushed over and pulled Daryl back as Rick took the axe out of his hands.
"Please doctor. Give us a chance. That's all we want. A chance to survive. To find a cure. Please." Lori begged.
Jenner shook his head.
"Wouldn't it be better, to let the clock count down and hold your loved ones close? A minute of no pain. No pain at all." He tried to pursuade them.
"My daughter doesn't deserve to die like this!" Carol cried.
"But she deserves to get ripped apart by those monsters?!" He argued back.
"She deserves a chance!"
As everyone argued and begged Jenner to open the door, Sam sat on the floor staring into space. She was out of it.
"Give us a chance! Please!" Ellie begged.
"Last night...You said it was just a matter of time before everyone you knew was dead." Jenner told everyone.
"You said that?!" Lori asked in shock.
"I had to keep hope alive." Rick argued.
Jenner stood up and started to pace around. He shook his head, but typed in something on his computer again.
"There's only enough power to open this door. The main door is sealed shut." Jenner sighed.
The group, except Jacqui and Andrea quickly left.
"C'mon." Daryl spoke gently to Sam. She stood up and looked over at Andrea.
"Andrea?" She called gently.
Andrea looked at her and shook her head.
"I'm staying." She told her.
"No! No. You can't!" Sam shook her head.
"Sam just let me be with Amy." She begged.
Sam walked over to her and knelt down in front of her took her hands in hers.
"You have every right to blame me for Amy's death. Maybe it was on me. Maybe if I kept an eye on the RV, hell if I went with her, she might still be alive. But I've lost too much. You hate me. I understand. But I care about you and I can't lose anyone else." Sam said on the verge of tears.
"I'm sorry." Andrea replied sadly.
Daryl walked over and quickly but gently pulled Sam away. Sam stopped walking and turned around.
"We don't have time fer this shit." Daryl growled.
He gently picked Sam up bridal style and began to run for the main door.
"Here. I found this on your first day in camp when I washed your clothes." Carol said quickly to Rick as she pulled out a grenade.
Everyone went for cover as Rick pulled the ring and left the grenade near the window.
As the grenade exploded, the window smashed and everyone quickly ran for the open window. They made their way to the veichles.
As they were about to drive away, Glenn stopped everyone.
"WAIT!"
Dale and Andrea emerged from the window. Glenn checked his watch. Only a few seconds until the CDC exploded.
"GET DOWN!" Shane shouted.
Everyone got down and Dale and Andrea threw themselves behind a barrier.
As the CDC exploded it shook the ground, and flames engulfed the area the building used to be.
Andrea and Dale slowly made their way into the RV.
The group soon started their journey. Nobody knew what their journey held. Nobody knew where they would end up. Who they would lose. And who they would gain. All they knew is that they were going on a journey. A journey into the unknown.
A/N: Sorry this one is also all over the place and fucked up. But it will get better because that's over with. Thanks for reading.
