Sam covers her mouth in shock, tears fall from her eyes. Merle just stands there staring at his younger brother. Ellie rushes over and checks him all over for any bites or scratches.

"You...You're covered in blood." She whispers and looks into his eyes.

"It ain't mine. Those damn walkers got too close...I lost Ari...." He tells her, no emotion present in his voice or face.

"Lost her how?" Glenn asks.

"The herd, it seperated us. Managed ta get away myself. No bites. No scratches. I don't know wha' happend ta her."

His eyes lock on to Sam and he quickly walks over and grabs her around the waist and hugs her, picking her up slightly.

She holds on to him tightly and cries into his shoulder. Her family was nearly back together.

He gently sets her down and gives her a small smile.

He looks to his brother who roughly grabs him and they hug. Merle laughs as everyone watches on with smiles on their faces, except for Ellie.

"No hug for me?" She asks sadly.

Daryl licks his lip and shakes his head, he feels himself become angry.

"Ya just slapped Sam. Wha' the Hell is wrong with ye? What she do to you? Nothin' tha's wha'." He growls.

"I don't know what came over me. Daryl I apologised. I was just angry. Worried about you. I nearly lost you. The man I love, the father to our child." Ellie says fighting back tears.

His eyes soften and he looks around.

"Where is Ava?" He asks quietly.

"I thought she was with you..." Ellie whimpers.

Daryl let's out a shaky breath and  drops his crossbow to the ground, he begins to pace around, he puts his hands behind his head.

"No...No..No..No." He repeats over and over again. His voice breaking even more after each "no".

He falls to the ground as the tears fall. His heart breaking. He's lost his daughter. The worst thing he could think about haunted him.

She was dead.

Sam kneels down next to him and Ellie sits down at the other side and takes his hand.

"She's probably with Rick. She's fine." Ellie tries to reassure him, but even she has her doubts as the tears fall from her eyes.

Daryl slowly sits up and wipes his eyes and nods his head.

"Ye righ'. She's a Dixon. She's tough."

Ellie laughs and wipes her eyes, she pushes some hair out of his eyes and leans in and once their lips touch they both smile into the kiss.

Daryl bites her lip gently and then pulls away, making his girl groan in fustration.

"I got somethin' planned fer ye later." He whispers huskily in her ear.

Sam quickly stands up walks away, clearly shocked at what had just heard. Everyone laughs at her reaction, except for Beth who just smiles.

A few hours later, Daryl and Beth have been introduced to the new people and Beth keeps glaring at Lauren.

"I love you, you know that right?" Sam asks Beth as they sit against a tree not far from camp.

They had decided they would stay here for another night and then make their way to Terminus in the morning.

"She tried to kiss you, and you didn't stop her." Beth sighs.

"I didn't know what was happening, I was caught up in the moment, I thought she was you."

"Hmm." Beth hums and rests her head on Sam's shoulder.

She turns her head and smirks at Sam's exposed neck. She quickly leans in and gently kisses the exposed area causing Sam to gasp in surprise.

"That's gonna leave a mark." Beth whispers in her ear causing Sam to shiver.

She licks her lip and quickly makes sure nobody is watching, she stands up quickly and pulls Beth up with her.

She leads her further into the woods but stops as she hears werid noises coming near them.

Her eyes widen as she hears grunts and moans, realising who it is.

"Oh fuck sake." Sam laughs and pulls Beth in the other direction.

They're not too far from camp, but far away so nobody knows what's about to happen.

Beth get's the idea and she pushes Sam against a tree and quickly removes her jacket and nearly rips her shirt off. She throws it to the ground and she stands back slightly, the moonlight their only source of light, giving her enough light to see Sam's body.

"God, I have missed your body." She whispers and quickly leans in and kisses Sam gently but quickly. "She can't kiss you like I can." Beth growls sexily after she takes her own shirt off, she leans down and kisses each scar on Sam's stomach, she kisses her way back up until their lips meet.

Her hands roam Sam's upper body and she rests them on Sam's back, just about to remove her bra.

"She can't touch you like I can." She growls again before she unfastens it and gently pulls it from her girlfriends body.

They kiss again and as their night is filled with love and passion, little do they know a figure is lurking not too far away, watching them.
