The group had been walking, for what felt like days but it had been hours.
Beth and Sam were walking hand in hand, a smile on their face. Not caring that there walkers lurking somewhere, only caring that they had found eachother again.
Every now and then Lauren would glance over and feel her heart drop. She couldn't believe that in the space of a few hours she liked Sam. She felt jealous. She considered herself better looking than the blonde, but she knew looks meant nothing to Sam.
Daryl had his arm around Ellie protectivly and Merle and Lisa were talking and laughing. Everyone seemed to be so loved up or happy. Except for Lauren. She turned her attention to Lisa and she became angry.
"Our sister hasn't been dead long and you don't even care." She snaps, causing everyone to stop walking.
"I do care! None of our sisters, our parents won't be forgotten. We just have to keep going. It'll be okay." Lisa sighs.
Sam walks over to Lauren much to Beth's annoyance, and takes her hands and looks into her brown eyes.
"Remember what I told you, you'll be okay Lauren. I promise." Sam smiles.
Lauren gives her a small smile back and wraps her arms around Sam in a hug, closing her eyes so she didn't have to look at Beth or Maggie's glares.
"Can we go now please?" Beth asks crossing her arms.
Lauren releases Sam and gives her a quick kiss on the cheek, Sam raises her eyebrows and walks over to Beth giving her a long sweet kiss on the lips, showing Lauren she's taken and very much in love.
The group carry on walking, following the train tracks.
Soon they reach their destination and everyone gasps at what their eyes see.
A building stands tall and proud, no walkers in sight. Terminus written on the wall.
"It's quiet...It's too quiet, I don't trust this place." Ellie says turning to face everyone.
"I agree, wouldn't they have someone on watch? There's nobody there." Tara says.
The group talk about what they're gonna do and Merle sighs and rubs his forhead.
"Fuck this." He mutters and walks down the grass bank and walks straight for the open gate.
Everyone mutters a different curse word under their breaths and quickly run after him.
They reach the gate, and Merle who just chuckles to himself.
They walk through the gate weapons raised, slowly walking through the courtyard they are greeted by a middle aged woman cooking some sort of meat on a BBQ.
"Oh hello." She smiles and turns some meat over to cook the other side. "Who are you?" She asks sweetly.
Abe steps forward, taking charge as the leader of their small group.
"The name's Abraham. This here is, Eugene, Tara, Sasha, Bob, Maggie, Glenn, Daryl, Merle, Ellie, Beth, Sam, Lauren, Lisa and Rosita." He says full of authority, walking to each person as he says their names.
"It's lovely to meet you, my name is Mary, here have some food." She says with that sweet smile of hers as she holds a plate out.
Abe takes it and nods his head in thanks.
"Welcome to Terminus."
