Sam's POV

When I woke up, my entire body ached. My mind quickly went back to what happend at Woodbury and I began to panic.

He's got me again.

"Sam?" He asks standing over me.

"Get away from me!" I yell at him pushing him away, fighting back the pain and tears.

He grabs my arms and gently pushes me back down and I throw my body around. I cry, but he ignores me.

"Sam, calm down. You're safe." He says cupping the side of my face.

"Let me go! I want to go home." I cry curling into a ball and cry.

I want Daryl. I want Merle. I want Ellie. I want Beth. I want my Mom. I want Shane. I want to go home.

I hear him sigh and he walks out, a few moments later I hear lighter footsteps and I feel someone sit on the edge of the bed and they gently put a hand on me and I tense up.

All those days watching from the windows
All those years outside looking in
All that time never even knowing
Just how blind I've been
Now I'm here blinking in the starlight
Now I'm here suddenly I see
Standing here it's all so clear
I'm where I'm meant to be

And at last I see the light
And it's like the fog has lifted
And at last I see the light
And it's like the sky is new
And it's warm and real and bright
And the world has somehow shifted
All at once everything looks different
Now that I see you

All those days chasing down a daydream
All those years living in a blur
All that time never truly seeing
Things, the way they were
Now she's here shining in the starlight
Now she's here suddenly I know
If she's here it's crystal clear
I'm where I'm meant to go

And at last I see the light

And it's like the fog has lifted

And at last I see the light

And it's like the sky is new

And it's warm and real and bright
And the world has somehow shifted
All at once everything is different
Now that I see you

Now that I see you

I feel myself calm down and I slowly sit up and through blurry eyes, I see Beth sitting there.

I'm home. I'm safe.

Beth leans closer and wipes my eyes and wraps me in her arms. I cling to her like my life depends on it and I let out a deep breath.

"I love you." I croak out.

"I love you too." She whispers and kisses the side of my head slightly.

She pulls away and I look to the cell door and see everyone stood there looking at me sadly.

One by one, everyone comes in and gives me a hug, some a kiss on the top of my head. Ellie sits on the bed next to Beth and Daryl comes in last and he looks around, unsure if he should speak. Like there's something on his mind.

"Daryl?"

He sighs and runs a hand through his hair and kneels down in front of the bed and takes my hand.

"We went back to Woodbury." He pauses and I nod at him to let him know he can continue. "We found Andrea."

"Is she here?" I ask perking up.

"No...We brought some people back from Woodbury with us. Kids. Old people. Famalies." He starts to tear up and he glances towards Ellie and then back to me. "When we found Andrea...She had been tied up. There was a dead walker on the ground."

"Then why isn't she here?!" I snap.

"Sam...Andrea got bit."

"You couldn't cut her limb off?" I growl.

"It was on her shoulder." He whispers.

I feel tears sting my eyes, and I start to cry again and Beth moves further up the bed and wraps her arm around me.

"She wanted me to give you this." Daryl says reaching into his pocket and pulling out a bracelet. Amy's bracelet. "She doesn't blame you." Daryl says handing it to me.

I gently take it and slowly wrap it around my wrist and gently kiss it.

We have people now. We have a community. We'll never forget those we lost.

Andrea, Amy, T-Dog, Shane, Jacqui and our past family members.

This is the start of a new chapter.

A more happy chapter.

I hope.
