"Shit. Daryl!" Sam exclaimed running over to him.

"Ya! You better run!" He yells turning around.

Sam sighs in relief but soon looks over Daryl's shoulder in confusion. Nobody there.

Her eyes search his body for any scratch marks or bites but she sees none..Only an arrow stuck in his side.

"Daryl." Sam whispers.

Daryl turns around and looks at Sam blankly before gently pushing past her.

"Sam did you see those ears around his neck?" Beth asks.

She shakes her head no.

"I'm more concerned about the arrow in his side." She snaps.

Beth sighs and tries to keep up with Sam as she jogs close behind Daryl.

"Please be careful Sam. Don't hurt yourself." Beth begs.

Sam rolls her eyes and ignores Beth, but she knows that Beth might be right. If she pushes herself too hard she might end up opening the wound.

It's not long before they reach the farm, Daryl staggering ahead almost like a walker.

Sam notices three figures running towards them, weapons in hand.

She runs in front of Daryl and the three figures, who she now sees as T-Dog, Rick and Shane stop in their tracks.

"Sam?" Shane asks cocking his head.

Rick raises his gun but Sam spreads her arms out.

"He's not dead. Just an arrow in his side. He's alive but he needs that arrow seen to." She tells them as calm as she can.

"Tha's the second time ye pointed tha' thing at me. Ye gonna pull the trigger?" Daryl growls.

Rick puts his gun back in his holster and T-Dog and Shane lowers their weapons. A loud bang goes off and Daryl falls to the ground.

"NO!" Rick yells turning around.

"D..Da..Daryl." Sam whispers kneeling down next to his body.

Tears fall down her face and she shakes Daryl lightly.

"No! Daryl wake up! Wake up! Don't leave me! Please!" She cries.

Shane and Rick quickly pull him up and Daryl moves his head groggily.

"I wa' jus' kiddin'." He mumbles before passing out.

Sam stays behind as Shane and Rick help Daryl to the house.

"Sam.." Beth says gently.

Sam quickly stands up, ignoring Beth and runs straight for the RV where the person on watch would be.

She sees Andrea close to tears and she sees red.

She pushes Andrea against the RV and anger rushes through her veins.

"You stupid little bitch! You nearly killed him! You're lucky he's alive. Hell he might not survive. You best hope he does or I'm coming after you. If he dies, you're dead Andrea. You hear me?! DEAD!" Sam growls.

Andrea cowers slightly but recovers.

"Like you killed Amy?" She hisses.

Sam releases Andrea and runs away. She runs towards the stables and once she reaches the stable she breaks down. Tears fall from her eyes and she falls to her knees.

She cries and cries.

Someone comes up behind her and wraps their arms around her. She doesn't shrug whoever it is off, she lets them hold her as she cries.

"It's okay Sam." Beth whispers.

Sam slightly turns to face Beth and she wraps her arms around the blonde. She cries into her shoulder and Beth holds her tighter.

A figure watches them from the barn, playing with their knife.

"You're dead Sam..."

Sam soon calms down and Beth gently lets her go.

"Wanna talk about it?" Beth asks with a smile.

"Nothing to talk about." Sam snaps as she stands up and walks towards the house, leave Beth sat there confused.

One minute she let's me hug her and see her at her worst, the next she acts like she's fine. I wanna know what's going on in that mind of hers. I wanna help her. But how?

Sam walks into the house and Andrea is sat down on the sofa and glares as Sam walks in. Carol sees Sam and walks over to her.

"He's upstairs. Hershel says he's gonna be fine. He just passed out from blood loss and from the heat. You can go see him, Ellie is already up there." Carol smiles.

Sam nods her head and walks up to Daryl's room. She hears quiet crying and slowly opens the door and sees Ellie sat at the side of the bed holding his hand. Sam watches as a few tears fall onto the bed.

"I don't know what I would have done if I'd lost you. You're my everything Dixon. And you mean the world to Sam." She manages to say through the tears. She kisses his hand.

Sam decides to leave her with him and walks into her room.

She walks to her bed and takes her jacket off. The door suddenly closes, and Sam turns around quickly.

A figure locks the door and slowly turns around.

"We need to talk. And you're going to talk to me."

"No. I'm not. I've got nothing to say. There's nothing to tell."

"Please Sam."

"No Beth. Please leave." Sam sighs.

Beth shakes her head but unlocks the door and leaves.

Sam collapses on the bed and let's out a small cry of fustration.

Why can't people just leave me alone?
