Sam's POV
"Ow." I hiss as Beth dabs my lip. She gives me a sad smile and I have the urge to kiss her but I stop myself.
It's just amazing how one girl...Could change me. From not liking her to being in love..Yes I'm in love with Beth Greene.
She smiles at me as she slowly leans back and I know she's done.
I stand up and so does she. I wrap my arm around her waist and press my lips against the side of her head and we walk out of our cell where everyone is waiting.
My eyes land on Riley and glares back at me. I gently turn Beth's head to face me and I press my lips against hers and she smiles into the kiss.
We pull away and Carl walks up to me with a little wrapped up box in his hands.
"Sorry it's not much." He mumbles and I remove my arm from Beth and take the box from him and wrap my arms around him.
"Shut up Carly." I smirk and he laughs.
I walk over to the table everyone is gathered around and sit down.
I un wrap the box and open it.
My eyes go wide, it's a ring. It's a plain silver ring with a green love heart gem in the center.
I slip it on my thumb and smile at Carl.
"Thank you."
I open a few more and it's mainly clothes.
Ellie pushes another gift towards me and I smile at her as I un wrap it. When I've finished, I look at it confused..
It's a strap.
She smiles at me, as Daryl walks over and places a big gift in front of me. I un wrap it and I gasp in shock.
"Yer a mini Dixon." He chuckles and I take the gift in my hands.
"It...How...I don't know how to use it." I look at him sadly.
"I'll teach ye." He says as he ruffles my hair.
I stand up and aim the crossbow, it's not loaded so nobody freaks out.
"Hey, ye got yer posture jus' righ'." He says and pats my back.
I look around and see Riley glaring at Beth, her hand hovering over her knife.
She looks to me and she removes her hand.
I walk over to Beth and wrap my arm around her and everyone goes about their business.
"Here." Merle says walking over and handing me something.
"What is it?" I ask as I un wrap it.
"Before, I got this." He says as he lifts his arm with the knife and metal brace. "I had a special knife. Called it ma lucky one. Never let me down. Now I want ya ta have it." He smiles at me.
I hug him and he chuckles as he hugs me back.
"Thanks Merle." I whisper.
"Ya welcome." He says, before walking away.
I wrap my arm around Beth again and she leans into my side.
"I got a surprise for you." She whispers and takes my hand and leads me outside.
We walk to one of the look out towers and she leads me up the stairs.
She opens the door and I gasp. Candles are lit, there are pillows put together and a blanket.
And a wrapped up box in the middle.
"Go open it." She whispers and I walk over and kneel down on the pillows.
I un wrap the box and open it.
A beautiful heart shaped locket lays there. Un touched.
"It's beautiful." I whisper and take it out.
Beth sits in front of me and kisses my nose.
"Open it."
I carefully open it to see a picture of Beth smiling at me.
"Ho..How did yo-."
"I have my ways." She cuts me off with a wink.
She gently takes the locket from me and I turn around and lift my hair up and she puts it around my neck and fastens the clip.
I turn back around but I'm gently pushed down and lips attack mine.
"Happy birthday." She whispers huskily.
