Chapter Sixty Three
Lexie's P.O.V.
I woke up seeing the sunlight barely coming through the curtains. Justin stirred in his sleep pulling me even closer to him while I looked around. His room was massive compared to mine. Tan walls, a blue striped bed, a dresser next to the window. A desk next to the closet, then two windows on each side, he even had a little nook in the window you could sit in.
This was our home now, my new home. Sitting up I saw the white snow covering the ground from where the curtains didn't close. It really was beautiful, I hardly got to see snow and when I did it was little specks of ice. Here the snow was on everything and it was so amazing to see.
I text everyone last night to let them know we made it safely. Grabbing my phone I noticed it was one in the afternoon. Oh great here comes getting used to the time change, he was two hours ahead. It amazed me his parents didn't come in and wake us up considering the time, mine would have had me up at eight.
Laying down on my back I felt Justin move again, we both passed out as soon as our head hit the pillow. "Good morning my love" he sleepily said rubbing his eyes to wake up.
"Good morning honey" I responded as he placed a soft kiss on my lips.
"I can't believe you are actually here" he chuckled placing his head on my chest. I noticed he did that quite often now. I smiled running my fingers through his messy bed hair while he slowly woke up.
That trip took it out of us, we were exhausted. We didn't even grab my things out of the truck we were so tired. Justin lifted himself up on the bed hovering over me as he scanned my face. "I love you" he said before placing a kiss to my forehead.
"I love you too" I responded wrapping my arms around him to hug him. This is something I could so get used to.
"Ready to get up?" He asked as I nodded. He slid off me while I pulled off the covers.
Justin went down to go get my bags so I could change my clothes. I went into the bathroom to comb out the tangles in my hair. That's when I got a good look at myself, makeup everywhere, hair a mess.
Why didn't he ever tell me I looked horrible? I sighed cleaning myself up just a bit. "Hey honey can I take a shower?" I yelled hearing everyone was up.
"Go ahead love" he responded as I observed the bathroom. "I'll bring you some towels and clothes"
As I began getting ready he opened the door setting some things on the counter. "Mom said you can use her shampoo" he smiled planting a kiss on my forehead.
"Thanks" and with that I hopped in the shower.
Twenty minutes later I walked out seeing everyone sit at the dining table. This was still unusual for me, so used to eating in the living room with electronics. Everyone smiled when they met my eyes.
Justin tapped the chair next to him, I returned the smiles taking a seat. Since it was afternoon Rose had made sandwiches for all of us. It was strange to have a mother that actually cooked for the family.
Michael nodded for us to start eating so without hesitation everyone shoved the food in their mouth. Justin kissed the side of my head as I began eating the sandwich. I smiled giggling like a little girl just from the feeling of his kiss.
"How are you feeling sweets?" Rose asked sending a sweet smile in my direction.
"I'm alright, just a little tired"
"Yea mom we may just be sleeping all day" Justin spoke up.
Rose nodded as we all continued eating. This was my new home now. I looked around the dining room just observing this house. They really did have an amazing home.
The dining room was exquisite. A white table with beautiful chairs, wood trimming all around the room. A huge window showcasing the snow outside. Then the entry way to the kitchen...this house was gorgeous!
We all finished our sandwiches while I helped Rose clean up the table. She smiled rubbing my hand before Justin led me back into the room, he was exhausted. Honestly I would be too after driving all that way.
He rolled on his side, his eyes staring into mine. "How are you doing love?" He softly asked, his fingers intertwining with mine.
I chuckled, "yes I'm fine, just adjusting"
"Good" he smiled, "let's get some more sleep" and with that he closed his eyes drifting off. I snuggled up to him burying my face in his chest. Just taking in his scent I felt so safe and secure, well this was my new home.
