Chapter Twenty Four

Justin's P.O.V.

I woke up early this morning, Lexie said her family would be leaving around seven. Everyone was still sleeping after I showered and got dressed, it was already hot today. Lexie text me making sure I was up and ready to go. I chuckled, how could I possibly forget spending an entire week with the woman I loved?

Grabbing my bag with all my clothes I wrote a quick note letting everyone know I left. As I was walking out the door I sighed, mom would be sad if I didn't say goodbye to her. Quietly I made my way into their room seeing them passed out on their sides.

It was strange how my parents slept, they weren't all cuddled up to each other. When Lexie and I slept together she was completely snuggled up to me. I knew dad was a bit of a rough sleeper so that probably had something to do with it.

"Mom, I'm going to leave. I love you" I whispered as she fluttered her eyes open.

"Alright love, be safe and have fun" she sleepily smiled as I leaned down to kiss her cheek. Adjusting the bag on my shoulders she called out to me as I turned around. "Be respectful to her father, I know it doesn't seem like she is getting along with him but she still loves him"

I nodded, "I will, bye mom" I headed out the door to their room as I walked through the rest of the house. It was completely different from when I was little. Grandpa completely remodeled it, making it more of a bachelor pad then a married mans home.

Locking the door behind me I started on the walk to Lexie's house. I never really noticed anything on the way there. On my left side there was a new housing community that had been there I don't know how long. The birds were chirping quietly as the sun began to rise.

I knew Lexie and her family was up already, she text me at four in the morning. What she was doing up that early I had no clue, that was way too early for anyone to get up. From what she told me Garrett, Marilyn, and Kara were coming as well. I guess Kara modeled for Bradley.

It was going to be interesting spending all week with a guy that threatened me. I wasn't going to do anything about it, he was Lexie's best friend. She loved him like crazy and being her boyfriend I wanted to make her happy. Making her happy meant being civil with this guy.

Walking up to Lexie's driveway I saw the rv with the trailer hooked up, looks like she convinced her parents to get the rv. Bradley and Kara along with Garrett were outside chatting, they sure talked a lot. I walked up as Kara spotted me, she waved giving me a hug as Bradley took my bag throwing it in the rv.

Neither him or Garrett said anything to me, I had no clue what their problem was. Maybe they thought I was going to use Lexie and end up hurting her but being guys they should be able to spot key things in our relationship showing I loved her.

"Love bug! Justin's here!" Kara yelled through the front door.

I never understand why they called each other love bug but it was their thing. They were like sisters so it was common to them. I heard Lexie call that she was coming as Kara laughed shaking her head.

Her parents were coming in and out of the house loading things up in the rv. Her mom actually hugged me saying hello to me, guess it was just her dad that didn't like me. "Justin!" my gaze whipped up to Lexie's voice.

She ran out the door through the fence and jumped right into my arms locking her ankles around my waist. "I missed you" she chuckled as I held her to me.

"Love, we saw each other yesterday" I whispered to her seeing everyone had locked their gazes on to see.

It didn't even phase her, she was probably used to people looking at her. She slightly pulled away smirking at me, "Your point would be?" I laughed, there was that spunky girl I used to hang around with.
