Chapter Twenty Three
Lexie's P.O.V.
Noah had been texting me all day non-stop. As nice of a guy as he was, he was really starting to get under my skin. Every two seconds he was typing up a reply, it wasn't easy to get work done like this.
I had agreed to oversee his booth this summer, he had new models so I had to train them along with me taking the role of his agent. I don't know what it was but he acted like I was the best thing that happened to his career, it was a little freaky.
I couldn't complain though, he paid me good money for just a week. It was a lot of work but at least I got some extra money for whatever. This summer was going to be interesting, he had put me in charge of the models. Picking out our outfits for him, the things we'd be handing out to the guests, making sure he was all ready to go for the races.
Good job experience for future jobs so it was all good. I liked Noah a lot, he was a good dude. To be honest I was a little nervous when he eventually found out I had a boyfriend, I knew he was interested in me. I didn't want him then and I definitely do not want him now.
Speaking of my boyfriend I was supposed to be at his house in ten minutes. It would at least take me that long just to walk there, unfortunately neither Garrett or Kara were here to drive me. I didn't dare ask my parents or Bradley, they weren't too fond of Justin.
Trying to look presentable I pulled my hair out of the French braid that took me four times to get perfect and let the waves fall down my shoulder blades. I had to do something about this blonde and red mixed colors, it looked horrible. I sighed tying up my shoes as I grabbed my phone and headed out.
It was still being processed in my head that I actually had a boyfriend that I kissed. It seemed unreal, after Jacob I didn't think this would happen again. The only people who knew what actually happened between us were Garrett and Kara, well probably Bradley too. More than likely Kara confided in him, that wasn't the most pleasant year.
It was beautiful outside, it was a little hot but I'd rather be hot then cold. I hated the cold, swimming was more fun then cuddling up in blankets freezing. I laughed knowing where Justin and his family lived it was usually below zero, I could never deal with that.
As I was walking I began thinking over our relationship which always made me smile. He was so sweet and compassionate and understanding. He actually listened to me and that made me feel special like he truly cared what I was feeling and thinking. I think I was honestly starting to fall in love.
I knocked on the door seeing his mom gently swing it open. "Hi Lexie, how are you?" She smiled allowing me to pass through into the house, I never knew how this family was always so happy.
"I'm good Rose, how are you?" I smiled back hearing music blasting from one of the rooms.
"Doing great love, Justin's in his room" she took my hand leading me through the living room down the hall to the room on the right side.
I could clearly hear him blasting his music as he listened to an old song dad sometimes listens to. I had memorized this song a long time ago. Rose started to open the door but I stopped her since I had an idea, she smirked as her eyes sparkled. She knew what I was thinking.
She chuckled as she slowly pushed opened the door. Justin slid across the room in his socks rocking out to this song. I was trying my hardest not to laugh. Watching as he slowly started to turn around I headed into his room dancing along with him.
He yelled falling flat on the floor. I doubled over laughing as he figured out what was going on, that reaction was priceless. Laying on his back he covered his face with his hands. I sat on him still laughing, "Pay back baby"
