Chapter Ten

Lexie's P.O.V.

Tonight was the King Henry VIII play! I was so excited I could hardly sleep last night. The performance was less then an hour away so I needed to get a move on.

For the first part of my role I was to capture the kings attention, which was a scene of the king aka Garrett, strolling the marketplace as I caught his eye shopping. Luckily my costume for this scene wasn't as complicated, just a green empire dress with sleeves and a bonnet.

I had the corset and slip on now I needed to do a bit of makeup. My hair had already been put into a braid and wrapped around the crown for the market scene. I loved performing in plays, you get to transform into a completely different person.

After the makeup Kara helped me into the dress as I helped her into her costume. She was to be playing another one of the kings wives, I think one that got divorced. I heard my iPad go off and laughed, not a second late. "Hey Kara answer that it's Justin"

She smiled giving me a wink as she connected the call. I was still embarrassed about the other day but its not like I did that on purpose. What was she thinking letting him see me like that? Oh well, at least it didn't affect our relationship any.

"Good evening hun" Justin smiled, I'm really surprised I understood everything he said with that thick British accent but I absolutely loved listening to him talk.

"Hey you, what's up?" I laughed still getting ready for the play tonight. Garrett was going to be here any minute.

"Oh not much just relaxing, is the play tonight?" he tilted his head in confusion, my goodness he looked cute like that. Shut up, focus on getting ready. I nodded slipping on the shoes for tonight. He flashed that perfectly white smile at me, "Let me have a look at you" I laughed twirling around for him to see, "You make a beautiful queen"

"Well thank you my good man" I curtsied watching as his face lit up and he started to laugh. "I can't talk for too much longer, we have to leave soon"

"No I understand but listen hun I won't be able to call you for a couple of days. My family and I are going on vacation"

"Aw I'm going to miss you" I chuckled, "Where are you going?"

He shrugged, "I don't know, dad and mom said it was a surprise. We'll be there for two months I think"

"Wow that's awesome! Well have fun, I hear Garrett in the driveway. Talk to you soon! Bye Justin!" I smiled checking once more in the mirror.

"Break a leg Lexie! Bye love" he smiled back clicking off the call. This was going to be weird, I was so used to talking to him everyday. Oh well time for the play!

Justin's P.O.V.

Mom waltzed into my room, a bright smile on her face. "Was that Lexie I heard?" her expression lit up. I nodded, "She sounds amazing"

"Yes she is, I can't wait to surprise her"

"At least spend the day we get there with grandpa"

"No I will, I'm excited to see him too"

Mom smiled tapping my foot, "Well get some rest, we are leaving bright and early in the morning. Goodnight Justin" she left with a quick kiss on my cheek.

I really felt spoiled but that's how my life was everyday. Lexie would absolutely adore my parents and vice versa. I smiled at the thought before drifting off hoping to get a little bit of sleep tonight.
