Riley's POV

"Riley. What is it you need? Last time I saw you you told me you were pregnant." Derek told me. I sighed.
"I don't want to spend time here, seeing as last time I saw you, you gave me a black eye. I need $500 from you to get an abortion, I'm pretty sure you don't want shared-custody at 15." I told him angrily, the last part sarcastic.
"Well Riley, you have something coming, because you have the nerve to ask for some of my family's fortune. It isn't even my child." He spat.
"Of course it is. We slept together at Michelle's party." I told him annoyed.
"Listen." He said, leaving forward on the table in front of him, and resting his elbows on it, his hands together in a business type way. "I'll give you the money, to make amends for hurting you, but we never slept together. After the money, I don't want to ever see you again." He told me.
"The feeling is mutual." I responded, as he reached into his wallet for his money.
"Derek can give us the money. He has an entire family fortune to waste. Trust me, these people won't notice $10,000 missing from their millions. We might just get roped into something we don't want however." I said, mumbling the last part, as I walked down the road.
"Riley, you haven't seen Derek in 2 years." Emily exclaimed, walking beside me.
"So what? Who else do we know that just happens to have $10,000 laying around?" I questioned her.
"Maybe we should just tell someone the messages have started again, maybe the police. They can solve this." Tiffany said.

Gisselle's POV

"And 'face the consequences' again?" Riley questioned, air quotes added to the 'face the consequences' part. "Not sure about you guys, but I don't want myself, or anyone else I know to almost die again. Or actually die." She added, sighing before speeding up as she headed into Culture Shock, the rest of us kinda stopping at her bringing that up. We hadn't talked about it since it happened, because it's a touchy topic, but I guess we can't avoid the topic forever.

Emily's POV

"Riley." I said as I stood at her door. She looked up from her laptop to me. "Will you please tell me why you and Derek really broke up?" I asked her.
"We just broke up." She told me, turning back to her laptop.
"I know he got you pregnant." I blurted out. Riley froze, before turning to face me. "It was one of those texts. I should've told you, I just, didn't." I said to her.
"Cliff notes version, I got pregnant, told him, got money for the abortion, he told me it wasn't his, we broke up, and, a couple days ago, don't get mad at me, I was drunk. Alex told me it was his." Riley explained. I sighed, but walked over and hugged her.
"It's alright." I told her.

Mystery POV

I watched the scene as Riley foiled my plan of telling the group about Alex and her. It didn't matter though. She may have foiled one plan, but I had plenty others to fallback on. These girls aren't going to know what hit them.
