Inspiration:

I decided to do a little something with lyrics and this was the end product - I tried my best but it might not be very satisfactory :'D many apologies in advance. :')

I loved you for so long - I made so many attempts to get closer to you, to make you notice me. I tried so hard to keep you close. But now I'm thinking, what if I gave up?

Was there a possibility before? Was there ever a possibility? And, by letting go, was I losing that opportunity as well?

[By breaking free will I be broken hearted]

And I was afraid of what would happen if I let go.
Would you forget me? Would I simply disappear from your life like wiping a name off a whiteboard, clean, without a trace, and good as new?

[What will I see when all the tears have dried]

I'm afraid to know what the future holds for the both of us, and the depth of uncertainty scares me so, so much. I'm not sure what will happen once I've gotten over you, done with settling my heart.

[And I don't know why]

So many people asked me what I saw in you and why I chose you to be the one to break my heart. Honestly, I don't know. I really don't. I guess some things just work in a way that we will never really understand.

[I can't keep my eyes off of you]

And you are so, so beautiful, even though you don't see it. And everytime you laugh, everytime you smile, you capture my heart in a way that no one has ever done before.

I love you so, so much.

A/N: So this is something I've had stored amongst my other chapters as a work-in-progress for ages because it was always felt rather incomplete - but I decided to post it today just to see what y'all think of it :D
So I'll be calling anything that is something like this in the future 'short lyric paragraphs' yey
I'm sorry this wasn't a very good update but please tell me what you think of it and whether or not I should try to do more of these :D
