CHAPTER 21

"Come on Teddy!" I put him on the leash and walked outside. It was cold outside so I put my sweatshirt on. We walked around the neighborhood, with Teddy sniffing everything and doing his business on everything. We walked by an icky old house. I wondered if it was for halloween, because it's mid October. I walked up the porch.

It had dead trees in the yard and the windows were shattered. It was 2 stories and ugly molded brown.I rang the doorbell.

It was some loud creepy organ sound. Then I heard footsteps. Okay, I'm done here. I yanked Teddys leash and started running.

"Wait!" I turned around. "Who are you?" I asked. "Austin." He said. He looked normal. No creepy vampireness or anything. "I'm Sarah." I walked closer. "I know what your thinking, why is a hot guy like me at this ugly witch house?" He said. I looked at him. He was okay. Blond hair. Nice eyes. He looked like he came from a wealthy family. He also looked familiar.

"Hot guy?" I rolled my eyes. "You've got some attitude, I like that." He smiled. I backed up. "I go to your school, and I've seen you around." He said. "You never told me why you're here." I said.

"Oh yea! Me and my friends are turning this dump into a haunted house." He beamed. "Okay."I shrugged. I don't know about this guy. "Wanna help?" He asked. "Uh, no. I need to go." I said and started walking off. "See ya tomorrow." He winked. Ew. I have a boyfriend

"Bye Teddy, be a good boy." I petted him and locked the door and walked home. I hate waking, I need to drive my self to school. I usually ride with Mattie and Liv now.

I had to walk pat that haunted house. I put my head down and walked fast. I thought I passed it without him seeing me until someone grabbed my arm.

"What do you want?" I sighed. "To show you the house." Austin said. "We just finished."

"I don't really like haunted houses." I shrugged. "I'll keep you safe." He grinned. I elbowed him in the gut and started walking. "Wait! Please! Can I atleast show you it with the lights on?" He begged. Was he ever gonna leave me alone? "Fine!" I stomped towards him.

He brought me inside. He took me through a door that said "EMPLOYEES ONLY." We walked in to a bunch of guys. They all looked kinda cool, you could tell they thought they were all that. They were staring at me. I wanna leave.

"Guys, this is Sarah. She said we could take her through the haunted house." He gave them a look. One guy who was tan with black short hair came up to me. "Hey, I'm Jake." "Hi." I looked down. I should've ran away while I had the chance!!!!

"This is Sam, James, Mario, and Sid." Austin said. I chuckled at the name Sid. "We hired personal creeps to scare the crud out of you." Sid said. "What are you guys rich?" I asked. "Austin is." They pointed to Austin who was acting all "cool" or whatever.

"Let's do this." They said. "I'll be the tour guide." Austin locked arms with mine. I squirmed out. "Uh, I thought we were gonna have the lights on." I said.

"You'll be fine." He said as we walked through large creepy doors.

Some bloody man ran up to me and got all up in my face. Just deal with it. I told myself. Austin put his arms around me the whole time and I tried to squeeze out of his grip but it was to tight. Then creeps kept getting in my face. I was done. I'm not gonna let these creepy guys push me around.

A clown with an ax ran up to me and before he could get any closer to me I kicked him in the shin and threw his ax on the ground. I ran out as fast as I could and started running. I'm so stupid for going in that thing in the first place.

I tripped on the fake hand outside the gate of the house and fell on the ground. Before I could get up someone grabbed me.

"LET.GO." I said. He laughed. "Were you scared?" Austin chuckled. "No I just wanted to get away from you." I said trying to get out of his arms. "Well you dropped your phone, I have your number now." He smirked and handed me my phone.

"Leave me alone!" I yelled. "Come on, your too pretty to be single." He said.

"I'm not single." I glared at him and ran off.

I looked back while I was running and he stood there with a blank expression. Maybe he'll leave me alone. Why does a guy notice me now?
