"I'm home." Hurlbutt slammed the door shut as she walked in. Great, she's back from her trip. "Would you like some breakfast? Since you've probably had an exhausting trip you know." I asked, she hasn't had her pills in three days, what if she killed someone?
I feel horrible for giving her those, but I can't stop now. I'll stop giving them to her when I'm out of this place and she can torture someone else.
"Sure." Hurlbutt flopped on the couch. Running into the kitchen, I sprinkled the crushed pill into her drink, I already had her food ready.
"Here you go." I handed her the tray of eggs and all that jazz. "That was quick." She gave me a strange look. "I'm just a fast cook I guess, I have to go to school. Bye!" I chuckled nervously as I grabbed my bag and ran out the door.
That was close.

"It was absolutely wonderful....." I drifted off smiling as Jewels asked me how my weekend was. "Good." She smiled. "Oh yeah! I got a dress for prom." I beamed. "You're actually going?!" Cory asked. "Yeah, Liam talked me into it. He's coming with me." I replied.
Their eyes bulged out of their heads. "Good luck with that." Cory smirked. "We'll be fine." I shrugged. I showed them pictures of my dress until I heard someone laughing behind us.
"That's the ugliest dress I've ever seen." Aubrey sneered. "I think you're talking about yourself." Jewels snapped at her. Aubrey gave her an evil glare and turned back to me. "So, who are you bringing? Like your "boyfriend" will want to be seen with you." She giggled.
I'm not bragging but there are tons of pictures of us together. "Actually-" I covered Cory's mouth before she could finish. "I'm just going with my friends. Liam's busy." I fake smiled. "What a loser." Aubrey flipped her hair and walked off.
"Who are you bringing? Last I heard you were single, I'm pretty sure you've been single since August, actually." I spoke up. Aubrey slowly turned around, an evil look plastered to her face.
"That's because I'm too good for anyone here, I'll find someone. Freak." She walked up to me and shoved me before she strutted back down the hallway.
Brushing myself off, I put my phone back in my pocket. "Why didn't you tell her Liam's coming?" Cory asked. "Who knows what she'll do if she finds out. I plan on keeping it a secret until prom night." I replied.
"So what are you guys doing this afternoon?" I asked, trying to change the subject. "Work." Cory sighed. "I'm going to my cousins." Jewels smiled. Since we're about to graduate, we get afternoons off.
"What about you?" Jewels asked. "I don't know, maybe go see Liam, if he's not busy." I shrugged. The bell rang as kids started heading to their classes.
"See ya." I smiled as I walked into my class. They both waved. "Later."

I tried not to get run over as I tried to escape the school. Not everyone's getting out early, but it's still a stampede.
"Get out of the way." One of the guys from the football player group pushed me. "Wait, we can't touch her! Or her big famous boyfriend will beat us up!" They all laughed. "Guys, I think he was serious." The jock who pushed me around the other night mumbled.
"What dude, are you scared of him?" One guy pushed him too. "He looked pretty mad. And he's not small." The guy mumbled again. One of the guys turned towards me and started grinning.
"You know guys, she's not that bad looking." He smirked. They all nodded. "Stay away from me." I frowned. "Come on, your boyfriends just a fake. He won't have to know." He got closer unit I kicked him in the shin.
