"YOU WHAT?!?" Jewels screeched in my ear, as if I wasn't already in a mood, she's just making it worse by dragging this on.
"You've been repeating that for the last five minutes, I'd appreciate it if you stopped." I said bluntly, we were eating at some restaurant. We had been planning on eating here for a while, I hate to ruin it with my news.
But then again I really don't care anymore.
"B-but-" "I told you the story, we disagreed and didn't tell each other important stuff, so we broke up." I tried to say it casually, but my voice cracked on ever word.
"I'm so sorry." She reached over the table and hugged me. "It's fine, I'll get over it." I pulled away and sighed.
"You never told me you got accepted to that college." She cocked her head to the side, meaning she wanted to know why before she snapped my neck. "I never told anyone, please don't get mad like Li- he did." I corrected myself, taking a deep breath in exhaustion.
"I won't, but you two completed each other, don't you think you could at least-"
"No. We're done okay? We may have been a cute couple, but I guess we were wrong when we thought we loved each other." I got up from my chair. "Sorry, but I have to go." I gave her a pathetic accuse of a smile and left the restaurant, leaving poor Jewels sitting there in shock.
I'm trying to be strong about this, I only cried last night. I promised myself not to cry over him anymore, just move on and forget, but it's hard.
Fans are probably finding out about us just now, we both changed a lot of stuff in our twitters and such. Paparazzis have probably noticed our dull faces walking around, or at least mine, who knows what Liam's been doing.
It's only been half a day, anyways.
It's a nice day, much better than yesterday. But every thing seems dark, sad, lonely. I'm not surprised though, would you be? Just look at the way I'm acting, like some kind of depressed loner.
That's because you are a depressed loner.
Shut up.
I pulled into the driveway and walked in the house to see Hurlbutt chugging beer. Yeah, I've given up on keeping her sane, she can kill me for all I care.
"Where were you?!" She slurred. "I went to eat lunch." I mumbled. "Whatever. Go clean the house, now!" She threw am empty bottle at me, I dodged it and watched it break into pieces as it hit the wall.
Looks like I'm the lonely slave again. A sharp pain went through my gut when I thought of that, it's back. My past, it's back.
And it's never going to leave.
*************
The door barged open as I sat in my room, ignoring the urge to look at old pictures of me and Liam.
"Please tell me these rumors aren't true?" I looked up to see Cory holding her phone, probably some article about me and Liam on it. "If I did, I'd be lying." I shrugged, causing her to drop her phone and stand there motionless.
"How'd you get in here anyways?" I asked, hoping that might change the subject. She still stood there with her jaw dropped, I don't think anything is going to change this subject.
