Taking a deep breath, I put a foot out over the edge. But I just couldn't jump. I can't kill myself. My life may be horrible, but I can't jump off a bridge. Something's holding me back, but I don't know what. I put my foot back on the bridge and just stood there. I closed my eyes peacefully and breathed in the fall air.

Until some car drove by and scared me to death.

I jumped a little and stumbled on the bar I was on. Luckily I caught myself and sighed. That was close. I closed my eyes again. I don't know where I'm gonna go after this, but it's not here. I'm leaving. There's nothing left for me here.

All of a sudden a huge semi truck zoomed by right behind me and nearly blew me off the bridge. "AAHHHH!" I screamed as I lost my balance on the bridge. The wind started again and it was loud and I was about to fall off this 60 feet bridge. I tried to keep my balance but was leaning off waving my arms around. I was freaking out.

I started to fall until I felt strong arms rap around my waist. I turned around and gasped.

"Liam?"

He picked me up and set me back on the ground. I don't know why he saved me, but I still don't want to talk to him. Before he could speak I started walking off.

"Sarah, can't we talk about this?" Liam asked as he walked after me.

"There's nothing to talk about." I crossed my arms and kept walking. "You almost killed yourself!!!" Liam yelled.

"Well you're the reason I wanted to die!" I spat and turned around, but immediately regretted saying that after I saw the hurt in Liam's eyes.

"Well, it wasn't really you, it was everything. And I stopped myself. I was actually falling on accident when you caught me." I said awkwardly, he sighed and started running towards me.

I ran from him as fast as I could but Liam's faster. He grabbed my arm. "Let go. Now." I frowned.

I wouldn't turn around to look at him. "Let me explain. She kissed ME. I tried to get away from her but she just kissed me once you walked in, I'm serious!" Liam said.

I stood there looking at him. He looked, well, genuinely honest.

"I've been thinking about you ever since we fought. Infact I was just about to say sorry until Aubrey came in. I'm sorry. Really, really, sorry. And I meant it when I said I loved you. Because I do." Liam said with his sad brown eyes that always seem to get to me.

"I don't know, everything's falling apart so fast. You hurt me Liam. I just- I don't want to be hurt again...." I cried. He hugged me as I cried into his chest.

"I won't hurt you again." He whispered. I looked up at him. "I'm sorry too. I was a jerk. And I love you too." I said as we stood there by the bridge hugging each other. I cried more.

"What's wrong. Tell me what's hurting you so much right now." Liam said. "I'm afraid you'll leave me. So many people have. I don't want to fall in love and then have you leave me. I just don't want you to leave me." I said with tears falling down my cheeks.

He lifted up my chin with his hand so we could look each other in the eyes. "I won't ever leave you. Or hurt you. I promise."

My eyes widened as he leaned in and kissed me passionately. I miss this.

We pulled back and smiled at each other.

"We should go." Liam said. Even he was blushing. Which is kinda weird because you wouldn't think Liam Payne would blush.

I made Liam Payne blush! Score for Sarah.

"Ok." I smiled. We held hands and walked off. "And don't worry. I'll beat up anyone who makes fun of you." Liam grinned. "Your too much of a softie." I laughed. He fake pouted. Although if he did best someone up, the poor jerk would be ruined, Liam's got huge muscles.
