Sighing in sadness, I threw my phone on my bedroom floor. I was dialing Jewel's number to tell her about my date, but we're not speaking, neither is me and Cory.

There's no one else I really want to call, no one that would really care. So walked downstairs to see if Hurlbutt's home. Lately she's been at bars and stuff, that's better than beating me up at home.

"There you are." Matilda frowned when I walked in the living room. "What are you so dressed up for?" Olive asked,

"I've got a date," I smiled nervously. "Wow, you're actually over Liam? I figured you'd cry over him for weeks." She snorted. "It's been over a month." I rolled my eyes, "what do you want?"

"Mom is drinking too much, and we need you to stop her." Matilda replied. "Why me? She's your mom," I frowned. "She's yours too." Olive rolled her eyes at me. "Not really." I mumbled, avoiding eye contact with them.

"Just hide her beer bottles, I don't know. She's worrying me." Matilda stated. "She'll kill me if I do that! She's trying to hurt me again, and I'm done with that, so stop her yourselves." I said as I walked away from them and checked my appearance in the mirror.

"You're not the same anymore," Matilda shook her head. "What do you mean?" I asked, "you're not nice, you're not caring like you used to be. You don't act happy and thankful to be alive like you used to. It's weird."

Before I could yell at her in reply, her and Olive walked back upstairs. My eyes widened after I realized what she just said.

I stopped.

I stopped being happy and full of life, when Liam told me to never stop. But it's not my fault, he's the reason.

Maybe this new guy could help me with that problem.

Smiling in satisfaction, I checked the time after looking in the mirror. My hair was curled loosely, and I was wearing a dark blue dress that came above my knee, it was really fancy since Cameron said to dress that way.

My makeup was more than usual and I was wearing heels that were way to tall. I guess this is the new me.

A nice black car stopped outside the house, and I walked outside since I knew it was Cameron. "You look stunning," he smiled at me and took my hand after he got out of the car and met me outside the nice vehicle.

"Thank you," I smiled and got in the passengers seat, this car is nice. Like, really nice. "Wow." I said as I looked around, this might as well be a house. Along with tons of special things it it.

"Nice, huh? This car is my baby," He grinned and drove off. "We're very rich as you can see."

"That's cool," I nodded, "where do you work?"

"Right now I'm in college while I work with my dad, he owns stores all over the country." Cameron replied as we pulled into a huge restaurant.

"Here we are." He smiled proudly as we parked, I've never been here before. He hopped out of the car after he parked and opened the door for me. I smiled gratefully and he locked his arm with mine as we walked in.

The place was even bigger inside, it had white marble floors, diamond chandeliers, fancy food and classical music. I feel underdressed, even though I'm not. That's how nice this place is.
