When a newly trained Jedi, Rey, goes on a mission to bring back Ben Solo her mission is turned around as Kylo Ren's mission to bring her to the Dark Side becomes a slight temptation. To say the least, their missions don't exactly go to plan.

Rey's POV I wake from my dream, I saw him again. Kylo Ren. I'm unsure whether to call it a dream or rather a nightmare. He had found me with Luke and dueled with me just like he had on Starkiller Base.
In my dreams he would always find me, most of the time we dueled and I would watch his movements carefully studying his techniques and his fighting style. He used his strength while I prefer to use my surrounding such as cutting trees to block his path,slowing him down, and trying to gain the high ground. Luke taught me that it's always better to have the high ground. He said he had learned that from his father, who had learned the hard way.
"Rey, are you awake?" Luke called from outside my tent.
"Yes Master, I'm getting ready for the day." I slipped off my cot and began changing into brown pants and a tan tank top.
"Okay, I have something important to discuss with you when you are ready."
"Okay Master." I slip my boots on and tie my hair back into my signature 3 buns leaving some hair dangling on the sides.
I grab my training lightsaber while exiting the tent. I have yet to construct my own, but it's better than nothing.
"Rey, please come and sit with me." I sit down on the log across from him.
"Is everything alright, Master?"

"Yes, Rey. Of course. Everything is alright." He tries to smile, but I can sense that he's worried about something.
"Master, please be honest with me, what's worrying you?"
Kylo Ren's POV I awake from my dream, I found her again. The Scavenger. I saw her and we dueled just like always. She was with Luke completing her training as a Jedi I presume.
When I found their camp I tore it apart, slashing everything from their fire pit logs to their tents. As I stand there surrounded by the destruction I just caused I feel her presence and turn around. She ignites her lightsaber and so do I in return. She charges at me and I block.
The dreams always happen like this. I find her, we duel, we never actually get a hit on another, I try to get her to join me, she refuses, I wake up.
I get out of bed and look into the mirror. The scar across my face is there, it has been for a year. The scar serves as a reminder of how the scavenger weakened me. I hate her.
Why was it so easy for me to burn into the traitor's shoulder and take him down, but when it came to her... I couldn't do it. I didn't want to fight her, I just wanted her to join me.
There's a knock on the door. I pull on a shirt seeing as I'm only in sweats and grab my mask. I place my helmet on and open the door to see a stormtrooper.
"Yes?"
"Supreme Leader Snoke wants to see you, sir."
"I will be there shortly." I slide the door shut and head to my closet for my usual black uniform.
Rey's POV "Master, please." I beg Luke again. He locks eyes with me.
"Leia has a mission for you."
"Is my training complete?"
"Not quite." His eyes shift down to look at the fire pit between us. "There is still some skills to learn, but I can not teach you everything."
"Why is that, Master?" I bite the inside of my lip. Isn't he the last jedi? The hope for the resistance? The one who should know all about the force?
"Not even I know all there is to know about the force."
"Have you taught me all you know, Master?"
"No." He looks back up at me. "I will contuine to teach you, but for now, I need to return you to the Resistance Base."
I nod. "You will be coming back with me then?"
He presses his lips together and closes his eyes then sighs. "Yes, only because you need a teacher."
His words repeat in my head, you need a teacher. Just like what Kylo said during our duel on Starkiller Base and occasionally in my dream.
I nod. "When do we leave?"
"A couple hours. Eat, pack, and then we'll load the ship."
"When will I recieve my mission?"
"General Organa will tell you your mission." I nod. We sit in silence staring at the fire pit between us for about a minute. "That is all." Luke gets up and walks to a path leading to where he likes to meditate.
Kylo's POV I walk into the dark room and Snoke's hologram appears. "Supreme Leader, you sent for me."

"Yes Kylo. I wanted to inform you that your training is complete."
"Thank you, Supreme Leader." I bow my head.
"I have a mission for you." I look up at him. "The girl, find her and bring her to me."
"Yes, Supreme Leader."
"Don't fail me again Kylo Ren." Hux enters the room.
"Supreme Leader." Hux says as he stands next me. "I have prepared the ship as you requested."
"Good, General." He looks back at me. "It appears your ship is ready Kylo Ren." I nod.
