Jasper's Mate and His Point of View
"Bells!" Anna pulled Bella into a hug. Bella hugged her fraternal twin, tears pouring down their faces. "I can't believe we both got married on the same day - at the same time!"
"I know!" Bella exclaimed. "Just like we wanted, yeah?"
   "Yeah."
"You two are so weird." Emmett chuckled, appearing beside them. "Always doing everything together - even getting married on the same day."
"It was a bit of a drag." Anna admitted. "Having to witness the same thing twice."
"You're telling me." Emmett faked yawn, making the twins giggle and jokingly shove him. The grooms appeared soon after.
"Mrs Cullen." Jasper nodded to Bella with a smirk.
"Mrs Whitlock." Edward copied the same to Anna. They all laughed at the act, and together they went to the reception which was at the back of the Cullen house.
Bella and Anna had moved to Forks expecting to be met with boredom, when they had found the Cullen family interesting. When Anna met Jasper, it was in her new History class. Every seat was taken except the seat beside Jasper. Jasper remembered the fear he felt when he heard the teacher say to sit next to him. It was the only class that none of his siblings took, so he had to be cautious in the class. But now that a girl had to sit next to him, it petrified him.
But instead of feeling bloodlust, he felt calm and serenity. The whole lesson he stared at Anna in awe and confusion, occasionally closing his eyes and smelling the interesting scent of hers. The next lesson, Jasper felt confident and spoke to her.

And then they connected eyes.

Jasper immediately knew that she was the one; the reason why he lived for centuries struggling with his thirst and his depression. He finally realised why he needed to live.

A week later, they were officially a couple.

The days passed; James, leaving Forks, Volturi. . .
Jasper and Edward thought their girls had died and went to kill themselves, only to find out that they were in fact alive and well.

And then came the Victoria incident.

That was when Jasper told his girlfriend's sister his story, why he knew so much about fighting newborns.

"I thought I was a monster for the longest of times." Jasper told Bella, staring into the distance. "I thought I had no hope, no reason to live in this world."
"When did that change?" Bella asked him.
"When I met your sister, Annabella Swan." Jasper replied. He chuckled at his answer. "Cheesy, I know. But it's the truth. When I saw her for the first time in my History class, and hearing the teacher tell her to sit next to me, I was petrified. Not for me, but for her. I couldn't control my thirst yet, so I was scared. And then I accidentally inhaled her scent. . ." Jasper closed his eyes, instantly finding Anna's scent that came from behind him. He opened his eyes and looked over his shoulder at the approaching Anna. "For the first time in centuries I felt peace and serenity." Jasper told Bella, wrapping his arm around Anna's waist. "Anna just brings out the good in me. Makes me feel human. If I had a beating heart, mine would be beating faster than the usual pace, all because of just simply looking at her or even being near her." Jasper stared at Anna lovingly. "I don't know what I would do without her." he whispered sadly. He stared down at the ground. "Well. . .we all know. The reason why Edward and I were at Italy."
"You won't have to experience that ever again." Anna promised him with a smile. "Just promise me you won't leave me."
"I swear to you on my life." Jasper vowed. He brought her head up into a passionate kiss. "I love you." he whispered against her lips. "And I'm sorry for leaving you after your birthday incident."
   "It's okay, I forgive you."
