A/N: Since there's barely anything to do on the holidays, I decided to get out of my room and see what my brothers were watching on tv. And then I was introduced to Nowhere Boys - and damn, that gothic guy is HOT!

The Girl
She was a nobody. No one noticed her. She was basically invisible. She was quiet. Small. And different. She was a goth. But a pretty one.
The first person to notice her was another goth in town.

Felix Ferne.

It was by complete accident, really. He was walking with Ellen to school, when he saw someone walking across the road, seeming to be unaware of the incoming car. He stopped to see if the person would move.

The person in the hoodie didn't notice the car.

"Hey!" Felix called out, cutting Ellen off on whatever she was talking about. "Move out of the way!" The person still didn't here, and the car was coming fast. So without thinking, he ran to the person and tackled them away from the car. The car beeped at them but continued driving away.
Felix moved off the person to the side, taking deep breaths from his close-death. The person in the hoodie groaned, taking earphones out of their ears. "Watch where you're going next time, yeah?" Felix couldn't help but snap. "I won't be there the next time it happens."
"Well it's not like I called for your help, did I?" the person quipped back. Felix sat up quickly when he heard it was a female voice.
The female lowered her hood, revealing her face. Her brunette hair was a bit all over the place from her sudden impact, her dark brown eyes frowning down at her hands, lips pursed in pain.
Felix snapped out of his daze and looked to her hands. They were bleeding from being scraped on the road in an attempt to soften her fall. "You're hurt." he realised. Not thinking, he grabbed her hands and using his sleeves of his jacket, he started gently wiping away the blood that was escaping. They were silent, sitting in the road, Felix tending to her wounds. It wasn't long until their silence was interrupted by Ellen.
"Felix!" she came to him with a scowl. "What the hell? You just ditched me and -"
"Hey, do you have any bandages or anything for her wound?" Felix looked up at the scowling Ellen. "She grazed her hands from being tackled to the side."
"It's fine." the girl spoke for the second time in his presence. "I'll just go to the nurse at school." Ellen stared at her suspiciously.
"Who are you?" she demanded. The girl said nothing, standing to her feet while avoiding using her hands to her full potential. Felix followed shortly after.
"I'm no one." the girl replied, walking away before the other two could say anything.

"-and Lola will be joining you boys since there's an odd number. . ." Felix's eyes snapped up from the ground to see the girl he saved earlier walking towards them. He then only just realised what she was wearing; ripped skinny jeans with black converse, her black hoodie but underneath was a loose white top that said 'I dare you to push my buttons'. She looked like she'd rather be anywhere else than here. She was different. Like him.
"Let's go, nerds!" Jake, a sporty guy (that also happens to be the bully at school) called out to them, making Felix tear his eyes away from the girl - Lola, her name was.

They all huddled underneath their makeshift shelter in the rain, their campfire weak and small against the storm. Felix sat beside Lola, who was shivering madly.
"So your name is Lola." he decided to make a conversation with her. "Nice name. A shame I didn't get to know it earlier, since you kind of walked off."
"My name doesn't matter. Besides," her teeth chattered, "I don't think your girlfriend appreciated seeing you showing amounts of attention on another girl."
"Who, Ellen?" Felix shook his head. "We're just friends." It was silent again, Lola continuing to shiver. "Here. . ." Felix took off his jacket and placed it over her. She tensed when a sudden warmth came to her. She glanced at the clothing on top of her.
"You're going to get cold -"
"You need it more than I do." Felix told her quietly, staring out into the night. "You were going to die from hyperthermia."
"Well. . .thanks." Lola wasn't used to getting special treatment from people. All she had was Phoebe. "But still, you're going to get cold. At least share your jacket with me."
He looked to her warily. "A-are you sure about that? I mean -"
"Felix, get your ass over here or so help me God, you can die from hyperthermia or I will give back your jacket." Immediately Felix brought her closer to him, wrapping his jacket around him as well. He was glad that it was double his size.
Felix felt more heat from not only his jacket, but also from Lola's warm body. His arm around her waist tightened, his other arm wrapping around her waist as well. He could feel her shivers fading away, until she was nuzzling her head into his neck for more warmth. He liked that feeling; feeling of being wanted and appreciated. Something he hadn't felt in a while.
"Thank you." Lola whispered to him. "For saving me earlier and for right now."
"It's okay." he told her quietly, resting his head on top of hers. "At the moment we just need to survive for the night without dying."
"No fair!" Jake's voice snapped them out of their bubble. "The vampire guy gets to cuddle with the hot chick? No fair!"
"Shut up, Jake." Felix snapped, feeling Lola bury her face in his chest at Jake's words. He couldn't help but release a small shiver when he felt her breath on him. "Besides, the fire's out from the rain. Lola was getting cold."
"Smooth move." Andy, the 'nerd' out of the group mumbled.
Lola and Felix ignored them, laying down in their small shelter to get some rest. Even then, they stayed together, his arms wrapped around her waist, her face buried in his neck, facing each other. "Goodnight, Lola."
   "Goodnight, Felix."
