Waiting For Him
He walked in the forest of Lothlorien, observing the beauty of their nature. He didn't expect any less of it, and almost wanted to stay in Lothlorien than Mirkwood.
He continued to walk around, loading his bow with an arrow when he heard a twig snap in the distance. Curiosity got the best of him, so he went in the direction the sound came from with caution. He held his bow up ready, while still looking around. Another twig snapped to his left, making him turn and release his arrow. A yelp came from the direction - a yelp from a female.
Panicking that he harmed a she-elf, Legolas quickly ran to the source of sound. What he didn't expect was to be tackled to the ground from his side. He grunted as his back hit the ground roughly, wondering if he broke a rib or two. But he really wanted to know was who tackled him. Was it -
"Ow. . ." Legolas groaned, wincing. He opened his eyes and gasped at who was on top of him. It was a woman that had tackled him - but it wasn't just any woman; it was Lady Gwenyth, the daughter of Lady Galadriel and Lord Celeborn.
"My Lady!" Legolas gasped.
"You almost shot me!" she informed him, hopping off him quickly. "Thought you were someone bad."
"Goheno nin," he apologised, standing up quickly, "I thought you were a threat."
"It's okay." she smiled at him shyly. "Gwenyth, Princess of Lothlorien."
"Legolas, Prince of Mirkwood." Legolas gave her knuckles a chaste kiss. "I am sorry for almost killing you."
"It's okay, I got you back." she smiled at him cheekily. "I'm pretty sure I broke a rib of yours."
"I think so as well." The pain only just came to him, making him hunch forward in pain, a hand going to his ribs. "I deserve it, though."
"Come on," Gwenyth wrapped his arm around her shoulders, her left arm wrapping around his waist, "let's go back to Lothlorien."

Legolas waited beside Aragorn as Gandalf tried to remember which tunnel to take in the Mines of Moria. They had just barely escaped from the creature in the lake, and they had no choice but to walk in the mines to the other side. For a moment Legolas' mind flickered to a certain person that was waiting for him to come back home.
"Legolas," Aragorn called to him, "time to go."
"Of course." Legolas murmured, catching up to them. "Just making sure that we were safe for now."
"I understand." Aragorn said, a double-meaning to his words. He knew what Legolas was feeling; he was having the same experience except with Arwen.

Legolas walked into the throne room to meet his father, wondering why he called for him. It's been a couple of years since his first meeting wth the Lady Gwenyth, but ever since that day, they haven't seen each other. Sure they bonded while making their way to the infirmary for Legolas' ribs, but after that the two were busy with errands - Legolas and his father having to return back to their own realm. Despite the fact that they never spoken to one another again, Legolas missed her.
"You called for me?" Legolas asked when he entered the throne room. He stopped in his tracks when he saw Lady Galadriel and Lady Gwenyth. "L-Lady Galadriel and Gwenyth." he stuttered. He quickly bowed down to them. "It is a lovely surprise to see the two of you, healthy and young."
"Thank you, Legolas." Lady Galadriel said in her soft voice. "Lovely to see you still well and handsome."
"I called you here to show them their temporary chambers." Thranduil told his son. "I also need you to train some soldiers afterwards."
"I-If it's no trouble to any of you," Gwenyth spoke up, "I would like to accompany Prince Legolas to the Training Grounds. Observe their fighting skills." She gave them all a shy, polite smile. "You see, Legolas and I haven't spoken to one another for a while, and I always find a spar to be quite interesting." She tilted her head at them with a coy smile. "So, can I?"
"If it's no trouble to any of you," Legolas told the adults, "I wouldn't mind if she accompanied me."
Thranduil and Galadriel shared a small grin. "Of course," Galadriel agreed, "Thranduil?"
"As long as no harm comes to her." Thranduil told his son. "Or you. Remember the last time the two of you were alone?"
"When we first met?" Legolas added. "Of course. No harm shall come to Lady Gwenyth." Legolas smiled at her. "I promise."
