A/N: Some of you wanted a Part II so here you go!
Soulmate - Epilogue
They all sat in the living room in silence - awkward silence. John was on his laptop to spend some time, Sherlock in his Mind Palace, and his soulmate's friend sitting uncomfortably on the sofa, having nothing to do. It was very awkward.
The woman's phone ringing in the room interrupted the silence, making her apologise and quickly grab it. "It's her." she told the men. They sat up straighter in their chairs. "I don't know why she's calling - hello? What's wrong, darling? You're in a problem? What problem?" While she was speaking to her, the men were already up and grabbing their coats. "Okay, okay. I-I'll see you soon - she's at an abandoned warehouse with that skatepark near -"
"I know where it is." Sherlock told her, running down the stairs. "Did she say what the problem was?"
"Some teenagers are picking fights with the homeless - she's trying to diffuse the tension but knowing her, she'd get involved because of how much she cares for the homeless."
"Very caring." John remarked. "She's basically the opposite of you -"
"Shut up!" Sherlock quipped just before a taxi pulled up in front of him.***
Jumping out of the taxi and leaving the others to pay, Sherlock ran towards the small crowd up ahead. He moved the homeless out of the way, finally coming to the middle where a fight was happening. It was two three teenagers against one woman - a familiar woman.
Running towards them, he grabbed one of the kids that were trying to attack her from behind, easily knocking him out. He turned to one of the remaining two, easily getting him as well. The woman easily defeated the last one.
Instead of turning to him, she went to one of the old homeless people, asking if they were alright. By then John and the woman had caught up to them.
"Sherlock!"
"Glory!"
"Glory?" Sherlock murmured, watching the woman fuss over her friend. "Hm. Peculiar."
"Sherlock, are you okay?" John asked him. "Jesus, what happened to the kids?"
"Knocked them out, no biggie." Sherlock shrugged. His main priority was his soulmate that still had her back to him. "Your tattoo is the infinity symbol, isn't it."
Her form became tense, dropping the homeless man's hand she was holding. She turned to him slowly, her emerald green eyes full of surprise and suspicion. "It's the infinity symbol, right?" he asked again, a hint of desperation in his voice. "Please tell me it is. Please tell me this was not a waste."
"It wasn't." She lifted her left arm, showing her wrist. "It is the infinity symbol."
Sherlock smiled in relief, showing his own tattoo. He held his hand out to her. "Sherlock Holmes. Consulting Detective."
"Glory Smith." She grabbed his hand. "I steal for a living and give to the poor."***
Two years later. . .
"Sherlock!" Glory yelled, one hand occupied with making their dinner, the other limb occupied holding their one-year-old son. "Emily is crying!"
"Got it!" Running into their room, Sherlock grabbed the crying newborn into his arms. Immediately baby Emily quietened.
Walking into the kitchen, Glory was setting their son on his highchair, their dinner on the table ready. "Got her formula?"
"It's in the microwave." Grabbing the bottle, Sherlock sat down at the table, feeding Emily. The two parents grinned across from each other.
Two years passed, but it didn't feel like it. It still felt as if they met each other officially just only the day before. Time flies when you're having fun, it seems.
Them being soulmates and all, they hit it off well. They got to know one another, dated moments later, and then a year later they got married and conceived their first child. Year after that, another was made. Sure they still did their jobs, but they kept it to a down low. Having people he actually needed to protect, Sherlock made sure he didn't make anymore enemies, Glory making sure she didn't get into too much trouble to cause any complications in this children's life.
People who knew Sherlock were very surprised to see him settle down, especially the people who despised him. If anything, seeing Sherlock on the field with a baby in his arms made him more tolerable.
If anything, having their soulmates made them both happier and better. And they wouldn't change it for the world. The End
A/N: I didn't really know how to end it, so soz if it sucks.
