Afternoon.

Me and Ben were in the kitchen, Arthur was asleep in his crib in the guest room after I fed him again and me and Ben entertained him with a sock puppet show, cuddled up with his cute stuffed teddy I got for him when he was born. He's perfect. Well I would say that, he's my nephew but he really is. I smile at the thought.

"You surprised me today Rosie" Ben said as we sat crossed legged on the kitchen island sharing some ben and jerry's ice cream. "I did?" I asked, looking up at him. "Yeah, the way you got really protective over Arthur. It just had me thinking is all" he said, taking another spoonful.

"Thinking about what exactly?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Well, now when I say this I'm not hinting at anything right now so don't take it the wrong way; but I just thought any child, particularly our potential children would be so damn lucky to have you as their mummy, always looking out for them, not thinking about yourself but them and how best to protect them. It just made me think that if we ya know, had children I'd never have to second guess that they'd have a normal life away from the media, not to mention with your good genes they'd be adorable, and very lovely like you too. I do hope they'd inherit your maths skills, I'm terrible" he said and I smiled.

"Oh um, that's really nice of you to say Ben, they'd get your cheekbones and cuteness though. You've got some damn good genes yourself mister, but the maths thing is painfully true" I said and Ben chuckled as his phone vibrated.

"What would you want to call them anyway?" I asked, I was feeling curious. I have no intention of having a baby anytime soon and he knows that but I just wanted to know anyway.

"What would I call who, or what Rosie?" Ben asked.

"Our children, well ya know if you fancied having them one day with me." I said, his expression softened.

"Rosie, I can't imagine not having kids with you, in a few years perhaps. I quite like having you all to myself right now, and Merlin is the closest thing to a child as I'd want for a while." he said and I went bright red, he's more adorable than Merlin was as a wee pup sometimes, and as far as puppies went, Merlin was the cutest.

"What do you like?" he asked.

"Ben, I asked first" I said and he pondered for a moment.

"Well I quite like Alistair or Thomas for a boy or Sienna for a girl." he said and I smiled. "Your turn" Ben said and I thought for a moment. "I quite liked Tristan or Thomas for a boy, Genevieve, Emilia, Freya or Sienna for a girl also, that's a pretty good coincidence we like the same names." I said and he nodded, looking quite content.

"That's quite a few girl names; what are the chances of a girl anyway?" he asked to my surprise and I coughed.

"Urm, coming from my family, not very high- well for a first born. Most of the girls in my family are the youngest like my mum, me and my cousins Elizabeth and Annabelle but on dad's side he has three older sisters so who knows. I think a boy would be most likely though, there's hardly any girls in the family. Gender doesn't bother me, a healthy cutiepie babybatch is all I'd be concerned about" I said and Ben grinned for a moment.

"Wait, you mentioned Tristan. Isn't your uncle (my mum's brother) called Tristan?" he inquired. "Yep, I've always liked the name though, although we do all seem to have names that already appeared somewhere in the family" I added and he looked rather inquistively at me.

"Not usually first names though?"

"No, normally it's middle names, like how I carry 'Imogen' and 'Francis', after mum and my uncle. I remember dad saying if he has to raise his children in England they have to have at least one Irish name" I lightly said and Ben breathed a small laugh as he looked down at his phone.
