"CHRISTOPHER! Take this medicine." I tried to keep him on the bed.

"Nooooo! That shit is groooooss!"

"You have to take it so you won't set up an infection! SIT BACK!"

"I'm not taking that shit!"

"Do you want me to call one of the big nurses in here to come hold you down."

"Baby it's so nasty." He whined.

"I know but you gotta take it! You wanna leave the hospital right?"

"Alri-." I caught him in the middle of talking and poured the medicine in his mouth.

"It's so nasty." He said with it still in mouth.

He took the medicine.

"Finally!" I said.

"Why don't that shit come in pills?! It taste like throw up."

"I know but that was the last time because you come home tomorrow." I kissed his cheek.

"I can't fucking wait! I feel like I'm in prison."

"It's only been four days. Quit crying."

"And you haven't left my side."

"No I haven't. I had to get my baby back healthy."

He kissed my lips.

"That's why Ima marry yo fine ass. You a real ride or die."
