i looked at the ring that shined in the light.
I was engaged...i cant even believe that.
but seeing him in my life forever...that made me smile more.
the flight back to New York seemed long...
We landed and drove back to our apartment to pick up our things to move them to our new house.
all our stuff is boxes, we called ahead and had everything to roll.
Matt looked around at the empty apartment.
"Alli...6 years."
"I know."
"but now...we are starting a new adventure."
"Yeah we are going to be proper family."
"finally."
we walked out of our apartment and didn't turn back.
the twins waited in the car patiently.
we all smiled and got in the car and I watched New York disappear in the side view window.
and welcomed the sign of the state we will call home now.

and saw the face of that i love.
we got out and he welcomed us with a
"Welcome home sugar."
"I like the sound of that."
"Me too!"
"Me three!."
