Its okay to acknowledge that it hurts.. it's okay to cry..
But once you cry over it, once you acknowledge how much it hurt you.
Make sure never to cry over it again, and thats how u move on..
Now I love this, but idk if I can say that its accurate or relatable in some cases.
Say you broke up with ur partner, yes it's healthy to move on.. Not get too caught up
But if you cared for this person as much as some people can in relationships.. If u were in love.. Then u won't just move on
Its not that easy..
We get hurt, and we change. We are made into a new person, or at least parts of us change into something different, we learn from hurt.
This is why I will probably never walk away from things and regret it, no matter how terribly it goes.
And I love the picture for this chapter, because as humans we just continue to learn..
U break a glow stick once, it glows really bright, but only really in the one area.
You break it again, and again, and again and it just keeps getting brighter I'm different areas.
The more we get hurt, the more we cry.. The more we open up.. The more we learn.. The more we shine
We wouldn't be human without our mistakes, we wouldn't be who we are without breaking every now and then
So dont walk away regretting your decisions, there's not point in regretting them, you just need to learn from them
And in that learning process, we become someone new
Its okay to be a glowstick..
