Chapter 7

Erin's POV

I wake up in the arms of the man that I love. I remember what happened last night and I am grateful for Jay being there for me. He is still asleep so I start running my fingers up and down his chest. He starts to stir a little so I plant a small kiss on his cheek.

"Hey beautiful." He says as he wakes up. "Oh how I love to be woken up this way. And to wake up with you in my arms."

"I love it too. Thank you for being there for me last night," I say remembering how I got here.

"Hey no problem just happy you could finally get some sleep." He says as I let out a big yawn. "we'll I guess we should probably wake up. Are you hungry?"

"Yeah I guess" i say closing my eyes again.

"How does pancakes sound for breakfast?" He asks brushing a piece of hair away from my eyes.

"Mmmm" I mumble.

"I'll take that as a yes" He says as he jumps out of bed and starts walking towards the kitchen.

As he is walking away i notice he doesn't have a shirt on and he has the most toned body I have ever seen he has a definite six-pack and an amazing v-line

"It's not nice to stare you know miss Lindsay." He says laughing and walking to the kitchen.

I wait a few minutes before joining him. I walk up behind him and place my arms around his body giving his rock solid body a hug.

"What did I do to deserve you?" I mumble into his back.

"What do you mean? You are perfect. What did I ever do to deserve you." he says turning around to face me.

I look down as I say "I am far from perfect I have so many flaws and a very shady past. I'm damaged.".

"You are not. You are perfect all those things are in the past." He leans down and gives me a kiss before turning back to cooking.

When he is done making breakfast we sit down at the table to eat.

"So what would you like to do today?" He asks as he takes a bite of his food.

"I don't know what were you thinking?" I say taking a bite of mine.

"We just have today off before I have to go back I work tomorrow so let's make the most of it."

"Well I would love to talk to hank. I need to know when I can go back to work it's killing me sitting around all day doing nothing." I say looking at me plate.

"Erin..." Jay says in his unimpressed voice.

"Jay don't say it I know what happened but I will recover better if I can just go back to work and get past it." I say although he already knew it. 

"Ok we can go talk to hank and then we can do something just the two of us." He says not wanting to start a fight over this.

"Ok. What were you thinking." I say excited for what he comes up with.

"I don't know but we will figure it out." He says as he finishes his breakfast

"Ok I have to go take a shower before we go. I have to get the feeling of hospital off of me." I say as I take the last bite of mine.

"Ok no problem" He says grabbing our plates.

So I jump in and take a quick shower trying not to make Jay wait too long.

So when I'm done I grab the towel and wrap it around myself and run fast to the bedroom to get changed.

I have my bra and underwear on when I look in the mirror and notice the door was left open a small crack I don't think anything of it till I look again and see Jay staring at me half naked.
