Chapter 22

Erin's pov

"OK it's 10 after 11. I should get going now. Have fun today and I'll see you later."

"OK bye babe. And I'm sorry it won't happen again" Jay says giving me a kiss before i walk out the door.

I walk out the door and down to my car in the parking lot. It's the middle of a work day so there are no cars around except for a black suv parked at the other end of the lot.

I just get in and start my car waiting a few minutes letting it warm up before I pull out and make the 10 minutes drive to jays mom's house. I get there at 11:25. 5 minutes early. I turn my car off and walk up the walkway to the door. I stop for a second and then knock. The door is emediatly swung open by Molly.

"Hey Erin nice to see you again. Come on in."

With that i walk in and take my shoes off and hang my coat up on the rack. I follow molly into the kitchen where jays mom and Felicia were sitting with a cup of coffee in front of them. We were just waiting on Natalie to come now.

"Hey Erin how are things?" Jay's mom Talia says as I stand in the doorway to the kitchen.

"Good, things have been good."

"My son has been treating you right." She says jokingly

"Yes he has" I say letting out a small chuckle.

"Well come on in sit down. Would you like a cup of coffee?" She asks gesturing to the seat across from her for me to sit.

"No thanks I'm fine" I say as I sit down.

"How have things been with all of you?" I ask.

"Good nothing new with me" Talia answers.

"Good it's been a little tough with the baby and Chris works alot. But we are managing." Felicia adds.

"Well if you ever need anyone to watch her, Jay and I would be happy too."

"Thanks Erin I will definitely think about that." She says with a smile.

Just then there was a knock at the door. Molly went and answered it and came back with Natalie following behind her.

"Hey guys sorry I'm late. Will got called to the hospital so I had to get someone to watch Owen." Natalie says sitting beside me at the table. It was only 11:35 so she wasn't really late.

"Oh that's fine. We'll I guess we should get going. Where do we want to go?" Talia asked.

"Anywhere is fine with me." I say. And everyone else agrees.

We decide to just go to the diner that is right by the mall so we could head right there after.

After we decided we all piled into Felicia van since it was the biggest and easiest for us to fit in.

We pull up to the diner and we all get out and walk in. We find and empty booth that will fit the 5 of us and we sit there. It only takes a few minutes before the waitress comes to give us menu's and ask what we would like to drink.

"What would you ladies like to drink today."

Natalie and I get ice tea, Felicia gets water, molly gets a Coke and talia gets a sprite.

With that the waitress left giving us some time to make up our mind on what we want to eat. She came back a few minutes later with our drinks and we were ready to order. We all decided we were going to get the clubhouse sandwich. Once we order the waitress leaves giving us the chance to talk.
