Chapter 25

Erin's pov

"Erin do you remember Damian Rodriguez?" Kim asked

"Ya i killed him." I said as the memories from that night come rushing back to my head.

"Why." I ask confused as to how he could have anything to do with this.

"Well he has a brother. Gabriel Rodriguez. Just like his brother he has a long rap sheet. Assault, assault with a deadly weapon, robbery, possesion and selling drugs. He doesn't own any property but he does live in Chicago." Kim says.

"Um.. that explains it. He took Jay because I took his brother. He wants me too suffer by hurting the one I love. He is beating him and making it longer to try and hurt me more. If that is what this is then he is probably going to kill Jay eventually. We need to find him before that happens."

"OK find a location on him. Anything on him even. Let's find Jay." Hank says before walking back into his office.

With that we all go back to our desks. And start to see if we can dig anything else up.

It's already around 3:30 and we haven't even ate lunch yet. I decide to take a break and go get lunch for everyone. I walk up to hanks office to tell him.

"Hey we haven't eaten yet. I'm gonna go get something for everyone. Is that alright?"

"Ya that's fine" He says looking up from his desk.

"How are you doing?"

"I will be better once we get him back. I just hate that this is all my fault." I say a lump growing in my throat again thinking aboit what Jay is going through because of me.

"Hey don't beat yourself up about this. He wouldn't want you to do that."

"Ya. I will be right back."

With that i walk out of his office and head to the pizza place around the corner. I come back 10 minutes later with 4 steaming boxes of pizza.

When I walk up Adam runs right up to me taking the box off the top and going back to his chair.

"Your welcome." I say once he sits down

"Sorry I haven't eaten since breakfast and didn't realize how hungry I was till I smelt food. Thanks er."

Everyone else gathers around taking pizza and going back to their desks to eat.

Once everyone ate there was almost no pizza left. We all gathered around to share what we found. It was 4:30 now so we were supposed to go home soon. I knew I couldn't go back for another night without him.

"OK so Damien and Gabriel didn't have any other family. Their mother is dead. Father left when they were young. No aunts, uncles or cousins in the area." Kevin says

"Ya so he must be staying with a friend or have a house under a different name." Hank says.

"Go find something. This guy isn't a ghost he is somewhere in this city and we're going to find him." He says I can tell even he is starting to get mad because we haven't found anything yet.

We once again go back to our desks to see if there was anything we missed anywhere. I turn on my computer and emediatly a screen pops up.

It's the same picture as before but this time it's worse. Jay is still hanging by the ceiling. His wrists tied up in chains. He has no shirt on and he is covered in bruises and blood. Even the jeans that he was wearing are all torn and covered in his own blood. His head is covered in blood from the cut on his head and his nose.
