Jay's POV.

I knew something was wrong. Erin is not one to make a big deal about any type of pain but this was really affecting her.

Once the second wave hit I had had enough of seeing her like this so I decided we had to go see will at the hospital.

Erin actually agreed with me that maybe it was best if we go which was surprising because she hates hospitals and will do anything to avoid going to one.

I quickly grabbed my phone and called Will. It was 10 o'clock and I was just hoping that he would pick up and maybe he would be at work tonight.

"Jay what's going on. Do you know what time it is?" Will said as he answered the phone.

"Will please. I need help. It's Erin something is wrong. Are you at the hospital?" Jay said and I knew he could hear the worried tone in my voice.

"No I'm at home but I can leave now and be there as soon as I can. What is wrong?" He asked and I could hear him shuffling around probably getting ready to leave.

"I'm to too sure. She has been having slight stomach pains for a couple months now and I didn't think anything of it but this is bad." I said.

"Alright get her to the hospital and try to keep her calm and relaxed and I will do what I can as soon as I get there." He said.

"Alright thanks will" I said hanging up and heading back over to Erin.

"Jay." She said tears streaming down her face as she sobbed.

"I know baby. We are going to go to the hospital and will is going to make it all better." I say wrapping my arms around her in a tight hug before lifting her off the bed.

She wrapped her arms around my neck tightly as we walked to the car.

I could tell she was still in a lot of pain but was still trying to stay strong.

"Will said to stay calm and relaxed." I said grabbing her hand. " just squeeze my hand whenever it hurts." I say

She squeezes right away and I realise just how much pain she must be in for her to be holding on to me so tight.

"Don't worry we are almost there." I say as her grip on my hand tightens as she clenched her jaw.

We pulled up to the emergency doors out back a few minutes later. There was a nurse and a stretcher waiting for us just outside the doors, I guess will called to say we were coming.

"OK it's going to be better soon I promise." I say getting out of the car.

I walk over to the passenger side and pick her up and carry her to the stretcher a few feet away.

"Dr. Halstead should be here any minute." The nurse says as she helps me wheel Erin inside.

"Jay what's going on?" I hear Maggie ask from the desk in the middle of the emergency room.

"It's Erin she's in a lot of pain and I don't know why. Will is on his way now to help." I say still not letting go of Erin's hand.

"Well I have Dr.Choi here he can help right now." Maggie said.

I just looked at Erin to see what she had to say about it

"No I'm good we can wait for will." She says through gritted teeth.

"Are you sure?" I ask surprised in this much pain she is willing to wait.

"Yeah he should be here soon." She says as another tear slips down her cheek.
