chapter 52

Guys thank you so much for all the positive comments on my last post saying to keep writing this story. It really means a lot to me that you like my stories. So I will continue writing this story and will hopefully be writing more now that my school schedule is calming down a bit. But I will also start to write of few of the other story ideas that I have I just won't be posting them untill they are completed.

Erin's pov

"Congratulations Jay your going to be a dad." Will says giving him a bro hug.

"I-I" Jay says shocked as he looks over to me a huge smile spreading across his face.

"Jay you're the father" I say the smiles on our faces growing even bigger.

He takes a small stride closing the gap between him and the bed and leans down embracing me in a hug. When he pulls away he plants a small gentle kiss on my lips before grabbing my hand again and sitting in the chair beside the bed. 

"So is everything alright with the baby?" I ask wanting to make sure there isn't anything wrong.

"Alright this is the one thing we do need to talk about." Nat starts and the grins on our faces quickly fall. "So everything is alright with the baby right now. However this is a high risk pregnancy. Because of recent events and the trauma and damage you sustained to your uterus there is a higher than normal risk of complications." Nat explains.

"So what does this mean?" Jay says, i can hear the worry in his voice.

"Well it doesn't mean anything right now. The baby is healthy and i don't have any concerns as of right now. However we do need to take precautions. I will prescribe you with some prenatal meds which will help with the growth of the baby as well as some other meds which will help with any stress that may occur to the baby and help keep everything healthy. However these meds are optional so if you do not wish to take them you don't have to." Nat starts

"Anything that will help with this baby we are willing to do." Jay says squeezing my hand tighter.

"I also recommend that you guys come in for a check up every two weeks so we can monitor the growth of the baby and make sure everything is progressing normally. And at the next check up I will definitely be able to tell how far along you are and tell you an approximate due date." Nat says "I can go and schedule the next appointment now and come back to tell you when that will be and also bring you some prescriptions. Did you have anymore questions?" 

"No I think that's it for now. Thank you Nat." Jay says as Will and Nat get up and leave the room

"Erin are you alright. You haven't said anything in a while."

When he says this I realize that I have been staring ahead for the past ten minutes just trying to process everything I was just told. 

"Um... i'm just trying to process it i guess." I say my voice wavering. 

"Er, there's nothing to worry about right now. The baby is fine, we are fine. We just have to take it one day at a time. And i will be here every step of the way." Jay says brushing the tear away that escaped down my cheek. 

"Jay are you sure you-" I start before he interrupts me 

"Er, don't even finish that sentence. I want this baby and I want you. Nothings going to change that. Alright?" He says 

"I love you, you know that?" i say a smile spreading back onto my lips. 

"I love you too" He says placing a kiss on my forehead before Will walks back in.
