Erin's pov

I woke up in a strange bed all alone. At first I was confused. I didn't know where I was or how I got there. Until I realized we were at jays cottage in northern Wisconsin. But where was Jay exactly? I got out of bed and started looking around for him. I walked into the kitchen to find a note on the counter.

Erin,
I had to run to town and get some groceries for the week we are here. I will be back soon. There is coffee ready in the coffee pot. Make your self at home. See you soon.
Jay xoxo

So I put the note down and grabbed a cup of coffee. I then went and checked out the place since I didn't have time to last night.

I left the kitchen which was huge to go into the living room. Jay and I were there last night. But I never noticed any of the details. The living room was huge. There were 2 leather couches and 2 leather recliners. There was a beautiful carpet on the hardwood floors. Everything was resolved around the huge TV that was on the wall. On the other wall beside it was a gorgeous fireplace. There were also shelves around the room full of pictures. I checked a bunch of them out. They were mostly pictures of Jay and his siblings having fun around the cottage. I'm glad that Jay had a place like this when he was younger to make nice memories in a hard time of his life. I wish I had that when I was younger.

I looked around the rest of the house. There was a hallway that lead from the kitchen to the living room and if you went down further there was a small bathroom. But at the end of the hall there was a patio door. I walked out of it onto a small balcony. It looked out over a small cliff and down at the bottom was the most beautiful Lake I have ever seen. I hope Jay and I have the chance to go visit it.

I then went back upstairs to look around. There were 5 bedrooms. Jays parents room, Molly's room, jays room that we stayed in last night, jays oldest brother chris' room and then there was another room that was the biggest and had 2 beds. I guess it was Liam's and Will's. Each room had their own bathroom of of it. In Jay's bathroom there was a jacusee style bathtub. This place is crazy it's more of a mansion than a cottage.

Just as I finish looking around the house I hear some noise coming from downstairs. Just as I am starting to get a bit worried I hear someone yell upstairs.

"Erin I'm back."

Good it was Jay. So I walk down the stairs and walk up to him and give him a kiss.

"Well Goodmorning. Did you miss me." He said

"Jay you never told me this place was a mansion. It's beautiful."

"Thanks Er. My grandfather made it and he always liked his stuff big."

"I can tell. So what are we going to do today?" I ask grabbing a few of the bags from him and bring them to the kitchen.

"I'm not sure. I figured that we could maybe go for a hike down to the lake."

"That's sounds perfect."

"Well I figured you would be hungry so I brought you breakfast. A blueberry muffin and doughnuts." He said pulling a box out of one of the bags.

"Perfect I was just getting hungry." I said pulling out a chair and sitting in it.

Jay sat down across from me. And grabbed a muffin and started eating it.

"Jay thanks for bringing me here. I can tell we are going to have a fun week. This is just what I needed."

"I knew you would love it."

After we ate and put everything away we went and got dressed. I wore a pair of leggings and a loose blue t-shirt with my bathing suit on underneath. Jay wore blue swim trunks and a white t-shirt. By the time we were all ready to go to was 12:30 so we grabbed two towels and headed out down the trail. It was a beautiful trail down the mountain to the lake. We walked towards the lake hand in hand.
