Chapter 16

Three months later.

Jay's pov

So Erin and I have been dating for just less than 6 months. Our six month anniversary is coming up and I wanted to do something special. I was thinking that we could take the week off work and go to my families old cabin in northern Wisconsin. But of course I would have to get hanks permission first.

It's now 6:45 Friday morning. I woke up beside Erin and I got up quietly and careful not to wake her and put on some sweatpants. We had to be at work by 8 so we still had some time. So I let Erin sleep a bit longer. I decided to start the coffee and make some breakfast. I decided to make pancakes and bacon. It was Erin's favorite.

I was almost done making them when I felt a pair of warm arms wrap around my waist. I turn around to see Erin still half asleep with her arms around my waist.

"Goodmorning sleepy head" I say placing my hand on her face.

"Goodmorning" She responded I could still tell she wasn't fully awake.

I leaned down and placed a kiss on her lips. She kissed me back emediatly.

"Well I am awake now" She chuckled.

"Oh ya" I say leaning back down to give her another small kiss.

"You mad me breakfast?" She asked pulling away looking at the food I made.

"I did. Pancakes and bacon"

"Oh my favorite." She said stealing a price of bacon from a plate.

"Hey. If your that hungry you could grab some plates while I finish this up." I suggest.

With that she went to the cupboards and grabbed two plates and forks and knives. She also grabbed two mugs for the coffee and the maple syrup. She then got the coffee ready knowing how I like mine. When she was done that the last of the pancakes were done. I loaded up the plates and we sat down and ate.

"Mmmm Jay this is great. Thank you." She said after eating most of her meal.

"Hey no problem anything for you." I said back grabbing her hand that was sitting on the table.

"I love you" She said looking up at me.

"I love you too" i said as we finished and stood up and gave her a kiss grabbing out plates and cleaning them off.

When I turned back around Erin was gone.

"Hey babe where did you go" I yelled out walking towards the bedroom maybe she went to get ready for work.

So I walked into the bedroom. I walked in and looked around. I had my back turned to the door when i felt someone jump on my back. It was Erin. She wrapped her arms and legs around me and started kissing my neck. I turned around and brought her to my front.

"Found you" I said her still kissing my neck.

"Well I didn't go anywhere" She said giving me a kiss on the lips.

"Babe we have to get ready for work." I say puting her down.

"Ya i guess we do" She said turning around going towards the closet.

We got dressed. I was in a blue long sleeved shirt with black jeans and erin was in a red t-shirt with black leggings. When we were all ready to go so we headed out to the car. Like usual Erin jumped into the driver's seat and I got into the passenger seat. We then left for work. We got there ten minutes early perfect I had some time to talk to hank.

So we jumped out of the car and walked into the district. We walked in and went up to the desk. Erin started to talk with Platt a little knowing we were early and only hank would be upstairs.
