Chapter 49

Jay's pov

I am woken by a door slamming. So I sit up and realise I am on the floor. I look around before remembering what went on last night.

I stand up and find the bed empty. So I look around for Erin before finding the bathroom door closed and noticing the light is on.

I walk to the bathroom and am about to knock when I here a noise coming from inside. It almost sounds like vomiting.

"Er, are you in there." I say as I knock. "Er are you alright?" I say jiggling the doorknob when I don't get a response but it's locked.

"Go away." I hear her say quietly sounding almost as if she was crying.

"Erin open the door." I say knocking again.

"Get away from me." She screams and I hear a crash.

"Erin." I say trying to open the door again.

"Please." She says deffinetly crying now.

I don't know what's going on but she is deffinetly not going to open the door for me. I back away from the door trying to think of what I can do. I need to get in there but she won't open the door for me and if I break the door down I could either hurt her or freak her out, which I don't want to do.

So I think of what Kim told me earlier and I run to the bedroom and grab my phone quickly dialling Kim's number.

"Jay it's 2 in the morning." She says when she picks up.

"Kim you need to get here fast." I say.

"Jay what's wrong?" She says clearly hearing the urgency and worry in my voice.

"Um Erin's locked herself in the bathroom and I think she's sick and she's crying and freaking out." I say walking back to the bathroom door.

"Alright Jay im on my way I will be there in 5 minutes." She says hanging up.

This better work I think to myself.

Five minutes later there is a knock on the door and I run to open it.

"Jay is she alright?" Kim asks as she walks in.

"I don't know. She woke up sick and ran to the bathroom and locked the door. Now she's crying and screaming to get away from her." I explain as we walk to the bathroom.

"Erin are you alright?" Kim asks knocking on the door.

"Get away from me." Erin screams again and I can tell she is still crying.

"Erin it's me Kim. Can you please open the door?" She says in a soft voice. Erin it's alright it's just Kim." She says again when she doesn't get a response.

"Kim?" Erin asks.

"Yeah it's me. Can you open the door now?" She says and I hear a ruffling before the click of the lock unlocking.

The the door opens and erin is standing in the doorway with tears streaming down her cheeks.

"Erin what happened?" I ask

"I-I don't know. I woke up feeling sick so I went to the bathroom then the next thing I know I was back there." She says as a new set of tears rolls down her face.

"Back where." Kim asks

"I was reliving it all over again." She says and I walk up to her engulfing her in a hug.

"Er it's alright your never going back there alright." I say rubbing my hand up and down her back as she continues to cry into my shoulder.

"I'm sorry." She whispers into my ear.
