Erin's pov
Don't worry Jay I am coming for you.
I have been sitting in the locker room for about 5 minutes now trying to think about how all this could go down. I can't bring the team to back me up. I can't bring a weapon or he will find it. I can't bring fake cash or he will kill us both. But how do I know he will keep up his end of the bargain. I might get there and he will kill Jay. But if I don't try he will be dead for sure.
So I think it through and try and find a plan. When I finaly come up with one I walk out to the bullpen to find everyone sitting at their desks. As soon as they notice me all their eyes lift from their desks and turn towards me. Hank walks out of his office and right up to me.
"Erin you can't." He starts.
"Hank I'm going in. I'm getting Jay back."
"Erin you know we can't go in with you. You won't have any backup."
"I know. And I don't care. Plus I have a plan."
"OK what is it?"
"I can't tell you. He might hear. Come here though." I say as I walk kver to my desk and pull out a piece of paper.
He understands what I'm doing and so does everyone else. They all stand up and gather around my desk to see what my plan is.
So I start writing out what my plan is and explaining exactly how it will happen.
"But you will be going in defenseless." Kim says.
My only response is me writing "knife" on the paper.
'It is made out of porcelain so if he has a metal detector it won't pick it up. And it will be behind my belt so it will be hidden but easy to grab.' I write down.
"Alright" hank says agreeing with my plan.
"Go sign out the money. Erin your going in, in 20 minutes." Hank says as he walks back to his office.
I can tell he doesn't like this idea but he knows it's the only way to get Jay. And he knows that I can handle myself.
15 minutes later we have the duffle bag full of money and I drive to the location. I knew which one it was. We had narrowed it down to 2 before Gabriel called. But I knew which one it was.
It was an old house that had 2 apartments in it. It had been closed down a few weeks ago and nobody has been there since. It was the closest one to the district so I figured that's where he must be.
When I pull up its 11:45. I only had 15 minutes left so I walk right up and knock on the door. My plan was that I get inside make sure Jay is ok. I make sure that he let's Jay go and give Jay enough time to get outside. Hank and the team were just around the corner but out of sight so Gabriel wouldn't know they were there.
I had a small undetectable wire in a necklace around my neck so all I had to say was the word and they would come storming inside. We also had an ambulance waiting with them knowing Jay would probably have to go to the hospital as soon as possible.
The plan was flawless. And Gabriel had no idea about it. I had a feeling this would work.
The door opens up and I am met with who I assume was Gabriel. He looked just like his brother Damien. He was just taller and looked alot stronger. Especially with my height and body weight I know knew that this was going to be harder than I thought.
It would be alot easier for one of the other members of the team to get away from him but I was alot smaller than them. But I was going to get away. I will do whatever it takes.
