Chapter 50

One week later.

Jay's pov.

I'm sitting up in bed watching her sleep peacefully. She has come so far in the past week. She is actually sleeping and doesn't wake up with nightmares anymore and doesn't get flashbacks. She has finally stopped saying sorry for all this and saying she is weak. And she finally let me sleep in the same bed as her.

She has been letting me help her through this and she has come a long way in such a short time.

The only thing is, is that she is still sick and she won't listen to me when I say we should go see will.

Just as I think this she starts to stir then jumps out of bed and runs to the bathroom again.

I run in after her and pull her hair back as she throws up our dinner from last night.

"You alright." I say rubbing my hand up and down her back as she leans back against me when she's done.  

"Yeah I'm fine." She says.

"Erin this is fifth time in seven days that you have woken up sick. I think we have to go and see will to make sure there isn't anything going on." I say.

"Jay im fine ok. Can we just go back to bed?" She says and I nod helping her up and leading her back to bed.

She snuggles into my chest and wraps her arms around me and I do the same as we fall back asleep.

When I wake up a few hours later I find the bed beside me is empty. I quickly sit up and look to our bathroom to see if Erin is back in there but the door is open and the lights are off.

So I get out of bed and walk out of the bedroom to look for Erin. I hear noise coming from the kitchen so I head there to see if it's her.

I find Erin standing at the stove cooking.

So I walk up behind her putting my hands on her shoulders. "Er-" I start but she turns around and swings her arm punching me right in the face.

"Oh my God Jay im sorry you just scared me." She says apologizing right away.

"It's alright I shouldn't have snuck up on you." I say holding my hand to my cheek. "What are you doing anyways?" I say.

"Well you have been so great with helping me these past weeks and I wanted to do something for you so I made breakfast." She says.

"Well thank you." I say giving her a hug and a quick kiss on the forehead. "So what did you make?" I ask.

"Well I am a horrible cook so I made the only thing I could. So we are having bacon and pancakes." She says.

It is true she is not a very good cook that's usually my job but she is right she does make good bacon and pancakes.

"Great let's eat I'm hungry." I say.

"So, I have to run to the store and then go see hank today, do you want to come with me?" I say when we are almost done eating.

"Um I think I'm going to stay home." She says and I give her a surprised look. "Jay I will be fine it's only for a few hours and if I need anything I can call you or Kim." She says smiling.

I was truly surprised that she wanted to stay here alone. But she was right it was only for a few hours and kim or I are just a phone call away. "Alright. I'm so proud of you, you know." I say

She just smiles in response.

The rest of the time we spent eating was silent. Once we were both done I grabbed the plates and cleaned everything up.
