"EVERYONE GIVE IT UP FOR AMERICAS FAVORITE FIGHTIN FRENCHMAAAN!" I had one earbud in and one out singing as I cleaned up my dorm. I didn't notice the door was open until I heard a voice from the doorway shout, "LAFAYETTE!" I almost dropped the box of old papers I was about to take outside. I spun around and was staring at a red-haired freckle-faced (I'm sorry literally all my characters have freckles I just love freckles.) girl in my doorway leaning against it. She laughed heartily. "Hamilton...I like it." She chuckled again. I tore the blue earbud out of my left ear and stood staring at her. "Yea.." I said blushing a little. You are such a dork! "I bet you're a Music major." She said with a smirk. I nodded. "How did you know that?" She smirked. "It was pretty obvious." She threw her head back laughing. She pushed her hand at me as if swatting at something like a cat. "I'm just kidding!" She laughed again. What's so funny? I laughed too. "Kat told me about you." She stuck out her hand and stood up straighter. "I'm Michelle but you can call me Mitch." I put down my box and shook her hand. "Are you Katie's friend?" I asked hesitantly. The girl looked shocked. "She didn't tell you about me? I'm going to get that big haired girl when she gets back." I laughed. "I'm studying to be a therapist. I want to help people with their life and crap." I giggled at her loss for words. She reminded me of a leprechaun. Mostly because of her red hair, green eyes, freckles and stick figure body. "I know I don't sound too educated but I went to private school my whole life and its nice to feel normal." Her smile faded for a moment but quickly bounced back. I nodded. "Well I really should get back to cleaning up my room." I said signaling towards the box of old papers. She nodded and said, "I'll talk to Kat about us hanging out tonight." And off she went bounding down the halls. I think I'm gonna like it here.
