I jacked up the chapters. Just go with it.
The next day, Addie asks me to come with her somewhere.
I cock my head and ask where, but she just tells me to get in the car.
"You know, where I come from, this is called kidnapping. "
I say, rolling my window down.
"Yeah you would know."
She mumbled.
My eyes widen.
She realizes what she said.
"SHIT! I'm so sorry, Char, I just-"
I laugh loudly, cutting her off.
She blinks, turning her keys and facing the road.
I'm still laughing after two minutes.
When I finally stop, I sigh and calmly reply,
"You're a bitch."
She smirks.
"You're a hoe."
I gasp.
"I'm a hoe?!"
She shakes her head, laughing.
"You're such an idiot, Charlotte."
I sit up straighter, mocking her.
"Well this IDIOT graduated top of her class in college."
She rolls her eyes, directing them back on the road.
_______________
We arrive at a dress shop.
A wedding dress shop.
I smiled.
"Oh you finally decided to get the essentials for a wedding, Blue!"
She rolled her eyes.
After about an hour of waiting, Addie's mom and a few more of her family members arrived.
She smiled and hugged them, squeaking and jumping up and down.
I smiled.

Three hours and countless dresses later, Addie comes out in a slim and pearly dress.
Everyone else was either playing on her phone, looking at dresses for Addie's sister, or playing around with tall shoes only Addie would wear.
I lance around at everyone else, seeing them completely ignore the beautiful girl in the beautiful dress.
She frowns.
"Could you guys at least pretend to care?"
She motioned to her dress.
I looked around again, noticing no one had moved.
"If you guys aren't going to be helpful i want you out!"
She screamed, calling the attention of everyone in the shop.
Her mother stood from her seat, trying to hug Addie.
Addie pulled away.
"Leave!"
"Addie..."
She shook her head.
"LEAVE! ALL OF YOU!"
I gulped, standing up and beginning to walk away.
"No! Charlotte you can stay. Since you were the only on paying attention."
I hesitated for a millisecond before smiling kindly and sitting back down.
Then my phone buzzed again.
Unknown Number- The other princess still hasn't found a dress?
Addie was still in the dressing room.
I stood up and crept outside the shop.
My finger hovered over the call button.
Before I could call, I got a text.
Unknown Number- Advice: Don't call, Princess. More advice: I would keep an eye on your friend. It's dangerous to be alone without your friends like that.
My breath caught in my throat.
I ran back into the shop just as Addie was coming back in a ball gown style dress.
She cringed.
"Yea not this one."
She let out a laugh.
It's ok, Charlotte.
She's happy.
Don't fuck it up for her.
I laugh weakly along with her.
My phone buzzes.
I gulp.
Darren🖤- What do you want for dinner?
I sigh with relief, but soon take it back as I see a dark figure dash out of the dressing room and out of the shop.
Addie starts to go back.
I shoot up from my seat.
"I'll come with you!"
I say a little too loudly and a little too forcefully.
She raises an eyebrow, but smiles and nods.

We had been to three other shops before Addie finally found her dress.
She smiled and spun around, twirling with tears in her eyes.
"This is my dress, Char."
I smile and nod.
"I'm getting married."
She said.
I nod.
"Yeah. Yeah you are."
She hugs my neck.
I'm taken back, but I hug her back.
She is overtaken by emotions.
She's so distracted, she doesn't notice the person watching us in the corner.
I squint to see his face.
My heart stops and I pull away.
"Hey! This is amazing! You know what we should do?! We should buy this dress and get out of here! Then we can go eat alrighty?!"
She gives me a look.
I know I'm sweating.
I know I'm probably crying.
I know I'm probably pale and wide eyed.
But that's not the point.
We need to leave.
We need to leave before the princess gets kicked off her throne.
