A knock came to my door.
I groaned, rolling over to check the clock.
Whoever is visiting me at 6 AM is going to get axed.
I rolled my eyes and stood up, trying my best not to wake Darren up.
The knock came again.
"I'm coming shut up!"
The person on the other side of the door went silent.
I unlocked the door, opening it slowly.
"What do you ne-"
Arms flew around me, almost causing me to fall over.
I glanced up the arms to see who they belonged to.
My eyes widened.
"Charlotte!"
I pulled the arms off of me carefully, taking my time looking at the changed people in front of me.
Mitch.
She cut her hair.
It looks nice.
Angel.
She isn't wearing her glasses.
But she still cringes away from me.
And David.
He looks good but...tired.
I stare around them.
"It's so good to see you guys!"
I say, hiding my confusion and stress.
"Where's Alexander? And Anthony? Chris?"
I shake my head at the amount of familiar names in my friend group.
They all have each other sad looks.
David teared up.
I had almost forgotten about David and Chris's love story.
It was so cute.
Then why was he sad?
"Alexander moved to Cali."
Mitch said, breaking the silence.
I frown.
"Anthony?"
Mitch chimed in again.
"Went back home."
I gulped, anticipating the answer.
"And Chris?"
They all looked down at their shoes.
"H-He got sick, Charlotte."
David mumbled.
I almost fell over again.
"W-Why didn't you t-tell me?"
I stuttered.
"We heard about you in France and we didn't want to put more on you. I'm so sorry."
Angel spoke quietly.
I rested my back on the wall, sliding down to my knees.
They talked but my ears refused to listen.
This isn't fair.
Nobody ever tells me anything.
It's always...
'Don't tell Charlotte. She's too unstable to be given this important information. It's not like she'll care. Just leave her be cause she tried to jump off a bridge.'
I growled like a dog, standing to my feet.
"Get out."
I didn't think about what I said until I said it.
But it was too late anyways.
There was no going back.
I just got them back too.
You can't seem to keep friends around can you, Charlotte?
