Classes started back again and I was still a little shaken by everything.
I trudged into Music Theory and saw Alexander sitting in his usual spot on the third row. I put my head down and walked past him. "Charlotte!" He called. Shit. So close. He tapped my shoulder. I kept walking. Then I took my normal seat on the fifth row. He sat next to me. I still didn't look at him. "What is it?" I asked bitterly. I hated myself for being so hateful. "Are you ok?" He tried to make eye contact with me. I held back the sob that was about to escape my lips. I nodded unaware of what to do next. He put a finger to my chin and turned my head to face his. "Do you need to talk? What happened the other night?" Why do you ask so many questions? I shrugged. He grumbled to himself. "Charlotte..." I shook my head. "Just leave me alone." I tore my head from his hands and covered it in my arms. Nice going Charlotte.
I tried for so long to get a response from anyone. I desperately called and texted Anthony and Kaydance. What did I do? I prayed for some be light to be shed on the situation. Tell me what I did. Katie pestered me about it. "They don't deserve your attention honey." She would say. I sighed and gave up. Every sound ,y phone made I felt a sudden leap in my stomach. Deep down I still had the hope that there would be that light.
