Addie followed my orders and payed quickly for her dress.
I took her hand and led her outside.
She breathes heavily, laughing lightly.
"What was that all about?"
I shake my head.
"Just got a little anxious and ready to go I guess. Sorry."
She smiled.
"It's alright. Let's gofer some food now."
I faked a smile, opening the car door for her and getting in myself.
Out of the corner of my eye, I see the same man that was watching us.
The same man who texted me.
The same man I thought was dead.
The same man I thought I got rid of.
The same man who drove my brother to insanity.
The same man that has come back for more.
The same man that raised me.
The same man I thought I didn't have to live with anymore.
I guess I was wrong.

Addie cocks her head, giving me a funny look as I stare around us.
"What's wrong, Char? You seem a bit jumpy."
I shook my head.
"I'm not jumpy."
Just then, The waiter walked right up behind me.
"Hello."
He said calmly.
I flinched, jumping halfway out of my chair.
Addie raised an eyebrow at me before ordering her usual Sprite.
The waiter glanced over to me.
Once again, I tripped over my own words, muttering more than talking.
Addie smiled at the man.
"Sweet Tea."
He nodded and walked away.
I mumbled a "thank you."
My phone buzzed in my pocket.
I cringed before glancing at the screen.
Blocked Number- Did you try to block me, Princess?
I smile up at Addie, who is still trying to discuss bridesmaid dress colors.
I open my mouth to speak when she holds up a hand.
"No black, Charlotte."
I fake smile.
"You know me."
I roll my eyes, glancing back down at my phone.
Blocked Number- Laugh with your friend while you still can.
I shake my head.
"One second Addie Blue."
She smiles and nods as I stand up.
I walk outside, pep talking myself into calling the number.
You already know who it is.
Just call.
It's just a trick.
It has to be a prank of something.
