It was finally over. My two weeks of utter hell were over! I smiled and skipped happily out of the hospital. I was tempted to show the middle finger but I decided against it. They were only trying to help. Well they didn't. If I wasn't insane before I sure am now. I walked to Katie's car with a grin on my face humming the theme to "New York New York" as I walked. Katie and the others followed happily behind me, thankful to be out of there.

My thoughts wandered back to Anthony. He was wearing a long sleeved shirt in July. Maybe he.... I shook my head clearing those thoughts. Not Anthony. I slid into the passenger seat of Katie's car. The familiar smell of Starbucks and cheap air freshener. Everyone else piled into the back seats. My head did a double take. I stepped out of the car. "Anthony do you need a ride? It's like three miles to get to...anywhere." I said motioning to the car with my head. "There's a whole seat with your name on it." He blushed. "I can walk." And with that he turned and began walking. He was acting strange but I suppose I wouldn't want to get into a car with strangers either. I slid back into my seat and gave Katie a smirk. She put the keys in their spot and looked over at me. "What?" She asked her southern charm flooding from her mouth. "Crazy ladies pick the best music." She raised a tired eyebrow. "Pardon?" I motioned to the radio with my head. She threw her head back laughing. Then she stopped abruptly. "You get Hamilton and that's it. If I have to listen to the "Rent" soundtrack I might just go insane." I chuckled and pulled my phone out of my bag. Then started humming "Seasons of Love" to the best of my ability. "OH MY GOODNESS CHARLOTTE LILLIAN SPENCER!" We all cracked up at Katie's cry. "I guess my thoughts about what goes on in your dorm have been confirmed." Mitch piped up.

I held up a hand. "SHHHHH EVERYONE SHUT UP!" They obeyed. We waited in silence for a moment as my phone shuffled its music.

I could almost hear the crickets chirp.

Then...

"The battle of Yorktown...."

And with that Katie's car became a Broadway stage. I clutched my head. What is up with these migraines? We laughed and sang in the hospital parking lot for so long they probably regretted sending me out.

I felt the need to embody Lafayette.

Just cause...ya know. French Freak and all.

Ps

Don't call me French Freak.

Ever.

Ever.

Hey guys ! I'm super annoyed and salty right now so I'm surprised I was able to write that happy chapter. It's literally 3:47 am where I am. I'm so tired but I can't sleep so enjoy about five new chapters that I haven't had time to write otherwise. Also I sadly do not own Hamilton it all belongs to precious Lin-Manuel Miranda. Thanks for the reads and votes. I luv ya!
