After only a month, Dan was beyond tired. Rubbing at his eyes, he tried his best to keep them open, but eventually they closed and didn't open for at least a few minutes. They opened as soon as Phil plopped down next to him, looking over at him and giving him a weary, stretched thin, smile. He leaned over and rested his head on the elder's shoulder, letting out a small sigh. He knew Phil was just as tired, he could tell by the bags adding up underneath his eyes. And apparently their audience's had noticed as well, some concerned, some theorizing, and some just plain out asking. It had been amusing at first, but now it was just starting to annoy him.

"I say we have about an hour to ourselves before she wakes up, what do you wanna do?"

Groaning, he just hid his face in his shoulder, letting out a muffled answer, refusing to repeat himself, if Phil hadn't heard him, nor understood, that was his issue. But he probably heard. Feeling an arm wrap around him, he smiled when he felt his lips press against his forehead.

"Who knew ParentHood would be so tiring. We don't give Louise enough credit, do we?"

Melting into Phil, he looked up at him with tired eyes, but he still held a small smile on his lips. Just because he was tired and run down a bit, didn't mean he was complaining. He enjoyed his time with Winnie, and loved her dearly. She wasn't trying to make anything difficult or challenging, so he knew not to blame her. But this was getting a little ridiculous by now.

Taking Phil's hand in his, he rubbed into his palm with his thumb, letting out another sigh before closing his eyes again. Him and Phil had made this choice to be parents, and backing out was not an option at this point, though technically it was. This was one thing he wouldn't quit on. Swinging his legs up and over, he draped them over Phil's, and was on his lap in seconds.

"So, did you get back to BBC about our segment? What exactly did you tell them?"

BBC Radio 1 had called a few days ago, wondering why they had flaked out on their past few segments, and neither really knew how to answer them. They weren't really ready to tell the world that they'd adopted a child, but at the same time, they both knew it wouldn't be easy. Playing with the other's fingers, he waited patiently for his answer, he'd grown a lot more patient over the past month. But when he looked up, he saw that Phil had fallen asleep.

"Well. One of us was bound to."

He leaned up and pecked his cheek, before gently getting out his grip and standing up, placing a blanket over his body so he wouldn't get cold. Phil deserved some rest, he barely got any these days. Yawning a bit himself, he looked around and wondered what he should do. The kitchen needed cleaning, the living room was a mess, and he needed to edit his videos soon. Pfft.

He chose to clean the kitchen. Winnie wasn't THAT picky of an eater, but she did have her likes and dislikes, and if they gave her something she disliked, they were gonna have an issue. Letting out a small, quiet hum, he swiftly cleaned up. Stopping only when he felt it clean enough. An hour had almost passed, though he didn't know how, but he got prepared. Walking back towards Phil, he considered waking him up, but seeing how comfortable and peaceful he looked, he decided against it. Walking right past him to go into Winnie's room.

Peeking his head in, he watched her begin to stir, her blonde curls framing her round face, and he couldn't help but smile. Slowly walking inside as to not spook her and make her cry. He didn't want to wake up Phil just yet. Smiling down at her, he waited until she was ready, standing up and holding out her arms so he would pick her up. Which he did quickly.

"Have a good nap, sweetheart?"

With a nod, she clung to him, her tiny fists ruffling up his shirt, but he didn't really care, kissing the top of her head, he swayed her back and forth for a few moments before walking out of the room, and going to the living room. Phil had changed position, he was now laying on his side, his glasses pushed a funny angle, threatening to snap, but in the end, he knew it was okay. Winnie was still sleepy, and was slumping against him, so he made a quick decision. He set her down beside Phil, who's arm went around her in an instant, and she fell back asleep quickly.
