This was the first time in a long time he was able to sleep soundly throughout the night with Phil, and he'd made sure to enjoy it very much. Falling asleep in his arms and feeling the warmth of his body next to his lulled him to sleep in no time, but he woke up to very small, very cold hands, touching his back. He was curled into Phil forwards, so it was no surprise the small attack would come from behind. Squeaking, he wriggled out of Phil's arms, somehow not waking him, and turning around to see Winnie there in one of his shirts. She didn't like the PJs they bought her, so he just let her do whatever, and eventually, she'd grabbed one of his shirts off the floor and wore it as her own. Not that he minded, she was adorable in it.

"Goodmorning, sweet pea. What are you doing up so early?"

Yawning, he'd finally looked at the clock. The digital number read 5:03, and he groaned a bit as he rubbed his eyes, but as he felt her climb into bed, he knew he had no choice but to do as she wanted. Perhaps she just wanted to sleep with them? She must be lonely in her room. But she just sat in between his legs and looked up at him, her hands in her laps as she crossed her legs. He was curious now, what could compel her to act in such a strange way this early?

"Do you know what today is?"

"Um. May 3rd if I remember correctly."

"Yes, but what else?"

"Grocery day?"

"No, something much more special."

"Honey. I have no idea what you are going on about, I'm sorry. Please tell Papa."

She gave him a small huff, her arms crossing over her chest, she actually looked upset, and a small bit like Phil when he was. She must've picked it up from him, cute. But right now, he didn't know how to make it stop, and all he wanted to was curl back up into Phil's arms and go to sleep, but he knew Winnie wouldn't let him, would he have to keep guessing?

"It's only my 4th birthday, hmph."

Looking away from him, he swore his eyes almost fell out of his head. They hadn't really known when she was born, since she hadn't exactly been GIVEN to the orphanage, but could she really remember at such a young what her birthday was? But by the way she was staring at him, he had a feeling this wasn't a joke, nor was she remembering wrong, and that was bad.

"Oh! Happy Birthday, sweetie!"

Wrapping his longs arms around her he brought her in for a tight hug, giving her face multiple kisses, and eventually causing her to squeal with laughter and happiness, always a good sound. Looking over he heard Phil beginning to grunt and come back to life. But he sat up somewhat as soon as Dan jabbed his ribs with his elbow, resting on his own elbows his eyes squinted as he looked in Dan's general direction. He was blind without his glasses.

"Goodmorning, Phil. Hey, do we have anything planned today?"

"Uh, no. It's Saturday after all, BBC doesn't need us, and we've made videos. Why?"

"Because we're going out today, ALL of us. It's Winnie's birthday after all."

And that seemed to trigger him to sit upright and fumble around until he reached his glasses' case and put them on, suddenly realising that Winnie was basically sitting right next to him, and beamed at her. Taking her by the sides he kissed her face as he had, more happy squeals.

"Okay. We are we going today?"

"I'm not sure, let's get dressed, eat some breakfast, and then figure it out."

Getting out of bed he stretched and smiled, he knew that today was going to be a good day, they rarely got to go out as a family, but today, he didn't even care. Dressing himself he got out some clothes for Phil, and went into Winnie's room and did the same, and then went on to make some breakfast for the three of them. He knew he was moving at a MUCH faster pace than the other two, but he was just full of excitement, that he couldn't sit still for very long. In no time he'd made fluffy pancakes, topped with whip cream and sprinkles, he would get a small cake later, or maybe they could all go out for some ice cream today, it was forecasted to be a pretty nice day out today. When the two came out he cooed at how sleepy Phil still was, pecking his cheek and sitting him down, he knew Phil LOVED to wake up to, and with, kisses. So he'd been doing that for the past 7 years, and every morning had been a good one, usually.
