It was like any other Tuesday, me getting ready for my live show, and Phil preparing to spend about an hour in his room until it was dinner time. But today's Tuesday turned out to be a little different. It looked like Winnie /had/ gotten sick, and it was all my fault, but Phil knew that if I skipped out on my live show without a decent explanation, questions would be raised, and convinced me to keep it up tonight. But he said I could shorten it a bit if I wanted to.
"Promise me that if you need me at /anytime/, you'll come and get me, okay? You and Winnie mean more to me than any live show." He just smiled at me, taking my hand in his, and kissing my forehead lovingly. "Alright, I love you. Winnie -" I peeked my head into her room, she was wrapped up in her duvet, Pooh Bear being cuddled to death it seemed like. "-I love you, sweet pea." She smiled lazily at me, coughing and hacking, and then calling out for Phil, who went to her side quickly. I sighed before going into my own room, live show time.
Turning on my laptop, I signed into YouNow, and put on a happy face, before starting the recording. "Hey guys! How's your week been?" Grinning at the camera, I watched as the chat room started up, and all the capital sentences started. "Alright, alright. Calm your tits, you guys. First question, 'What's with the little girl in Marzia's video?' Oh, you mean Winnie? I kind of forgot about her. Isn't she Louise's friends kid?" It hurt to say I didn't know anything about Winnie, when I knew everything about her, extra hugs and kisses for her tonight.
"Oh, she'll probably be in a lot of videos, she /is/ a YouTuber's daughter, after all." I gave the camera a wink, clearing my throat before picking out another comment/question. "'Okay, Dan, where has Phil been? His background went back to his 2009 background, did something happen?' Hmm, interesting question. Before you all speculate, it's /nothing/ like 2012." I could practically hear their sigh of relief, it was a good thing they didn't know that it'd been much worse, but I knew they probably couldn't handle that. "Just a /small/ argument."
Letting out a sigh of relief, the thought of cuddling and kissing him later tonight made me happier than anything in my entire world. "'Dan, what's with the ring?'"And that's when I finally realised, I'd forgotten to take off my wedding ring. I could hardly believe I'd forgotten it, again. Last time I'd had a pretty good excuse, but now, I had nothing. And I couldn't use the same one. Hiding my left hand, I swallowed thickly, smiling cheesily at all of them.
"It's a fashion statement, I forgot about what the meaning meant, whoops." I took off my ring, and set it aside, I'd used that excuse last time, and they weren't stupid, but I'd really hoped they wouldn't voice it. "Okay, next! 'Why do I hear coughing? Is Phil sick?'" And then I heard the coughing coming from Winnie, and my little heart ached for her, I couldn't help. I licked my lips nervously, coughing over her coughing, giving it a shrug afterwards. "Dunno."
"So, this week has been pretty interesting for me. /I/ was sick, and it's been /forever/ since I was sick. And I was having hallucinations, and apparently thought my friend, Mae, maybe I'll make a video or do a live show with her sometime in the future, was in my bedroom and telling me to go out there despite the damn cold. And I listened to her, and I got lost in a part of London I didn't know. And then my /other friend, her name is Pidge, you might like her as well, found me and brought me home. Last time I was at her house, I'd actually ran away for real, and then - well, here I am!" I beamed at the camera, my eyes sparkling.
"'Oh my god! Are you okay!?' 'Dan, you poor, poor idiot. You shouldn't have run away, twice!' 'Sometimes, I wonder why I look up to you, are you okay?' I am /perfectly/, fine, you bunch of muffins. Now, let's talk more about /you/ guys." Pretending as if though I were petting their heads, I smiled all cheesily like before rolling my eyes and smiling softly.
